Easy to find, to get in / out., clean, quiet, parking on street easy to find... perfect for a night

The check in procedures and information provided through Orbitz were poor or incorrect in various instances. The attempts to communicate with them through Orbitz were extremely ineffective. Other than that this was an amazing place set an amazing price

We stayed at Bankastræti 6, in Raykjavik. Close to dining, shopping and walking distance. Apartment was very clean and specious for three people. Kitchen had all the amenities we needed. Bonus grocery store is block away. We had a issue with shower drainage, and they came and fixed it immediately. Paid parking is close and we didn’t have any issues finding parking. Great stay.

Great location to bus stops, shops and restaurants, very comfy, and safe. Great value for a families.

We had trouble finding our apartment. We used self-check in as our flight arrived early. I will never do that again anywhere. The instructions were not user friendly. Once we got to the room, it was much smaller than the pictures. The linens were stained and the cabinets had not been cleaned in ages. The floor had debris and dust bunnies. The area was beautiful, however, and the location was ideal. Check in and check out was uncomfortable and not a pleasant experience.

During our 3 nights stay, the fire alarm for the whole building went off 3 days in a row and 2 of that happened during our sleep. On the first night the alarm went off at 1am. We tried to used the phone in the unit to call customer service number as we didn't know what to do but the phone wasn't working. We ended up calling the emergency number with our cell phone to get help. The operator contacted Luna apartments. Someone came by half an hour later, he came inside the building for a second and then went to the back of the building and the alarm was off. He told us the alarm is broken and he disabled the alarm. He said it would not happen again and he will have the security company to come fix it “first thing in the morning”. At around 2am we could go back to sleep. We emailed Luna Apartment to report this problem. Second night we came back around 6:30pm and we could hear the fire alarm ringing from a block away before we get to the unit. Few other residents were at the lobby wondering what is going on and we called the emergency number again to get help. This time the operator couldn't reach anyone from Luna. We waited for half an hour and the alarm turned off. We emailed again for the problem. Third time happened at 6:30am, 12 hours later from last time. The fire alarm went off again. We didn't enjoy our stay here because we could not get good rest. Everyday was dealing with the fire alarm problem with no help offered from Luna Apartments as they only responded once.

Check in was easy as they emailed you the code in advance for the entrance and lock box. Luna Apartments actually has quite a number of locations and beware that the pictures that you see is NOT the apartment you booked into. That happened to us a few weeks ago when we stepped into Amtmannsstigur 5 Unit #30, it didn’t look like what we saw on Orbitz. The unit we stayed was at street level, right by the main entrance door. We could hear residents walked by, made noises and slammed the door! The unit itself is poorly lit, it is so dark in the living room and the bathroom. It is just very uncomfortable because of the dim light In addition to that, the floor squeaks throughout the unit, the carpet underneath the dining table has rolled up corners, making it very easy to trip over if you are not paying attention walking around. The ceiling was peeling off by the kitchen. The rooms in this unit are in good size. Kitchen utilities are just basic, there is no oil provided plus salt and pepper were used up when we arrived, we have to email Luna apartments but they only filled up the salt the next day. The big clock inside the unit weren’t functioning at all.

Small but efficient. Close to grocery store and attractions.

Had to check out at 10:00 am and room had no dishwasher . Room was on the smallish side and could have been cleaner. Towels changed every other day and there was not a fitted sheet on one of the beds just a plastic mattress cover!! Had to call office to get them to put a bottom sheet on my bed.Pans were LOW quality and had to be cleaned for ten minutes each time you use them. No freezer in the refrigerator. On the good side the apartment had a nice view of the main cathedral and a small balcony. Room was also in a good location of the city. I would have to think twoce before staying here again!! Room also has a phone you can use for local calls and netflix on the TV!

We paid almost $200/day. The apartment is very dated; it wasn't like the pictures the company has posted in their website, which made us decide to stay at one of their apartments. The flooring was peeling, the bathroom door-frame was rotted (I have pictures to prove), dated furnitures and decor. Our bedsheets were used from the previous guests and have them replaced =( There were no visitor information available in the apartment: how to make outside calls, maps of the area, areas of interest... nothing, there's not a single piece of paper with some information for tourists is available. I tried using the phone and press any buttons to call the "front desk" and all I got was busy signals. There are no brochures available like in other hotels: directory, areas of interest advertisement, bus lines information, map of Reykjavik... nothing. It's as bare as a new apartment that you're moving into to live for years and years. We have to leave our apartment and go to nearby hotels to use their phones to make sure that our bus will pick us up at the right Luna apartment (they have 7 in the area). Their "front desk" is blocks away from where we're supposed to stay and we have to take a taxi for $12 to get to our apartment; we can't walk to our apartment toting heavy luggages because there were snow, slush, and ice on the road. The gray line bus and other bus company never stops at our apartment because they only stop at the "front desk's" address; being new to the area, we didn't eve

We saw many options for apartments but did not know which one we would get. The one we got had some outdated furniture. However The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom has ample room. The apartment was a 1 bedroom with a bathroom and kitchenette. As we knew going in eating out in iceland is expensive. The kitchenette was small but we were able to make breakfast every morning and a few dinners to save money.

The apartment we had was walking distance to everything, restaurants, bars, and the must see places in Reykjavik. Also, a really nice staff Finn, accommodated all our request. I would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend Luna Apartments!

Great experience. Staff was always there and went above and beyond. Rooms were great.
