This is a wonderful hotel. The staff there are very welcoming and super attentive to anything you might need. The rooms are clean, well appointed and nicely decorated. The location is great for exploring Turnhout and the area nearby. The buses all come and go from the train station which is next door. It is an easy walk to the Grote Market and all the attractions. The hotel is in the old train depot. It is a great conversion. The breakfast buffet was super. We were there for two days and they changed it up a bit each day. This is a very nice hotel. You will enjoy your stay!

Welcome staff, clean and large (as for EU) room, private balcony (at least in odd rooms at 1st floor) with a table, chairs, ashtray, candle, and ikebana, so lovely done. I'd recommend.
Kind of an odd place - a little less than expected based on the description. "Room service" meant ordering from a nearby resturant for delivery to the room. Furnishings were odd - the desk chair was narrow and uncomfortable. Very helpful staff, and still worth it for the location and overall value. I would stay away from the first floor - you are right on the street.
