Days Inn Reno South

I had planned a three night stay, but my traveling companions needed handicap accommodation, and their room was unsuitable. (You will not receive a glowing review from them). I give credit to Days Inn and Orbitz for facilitating a refund of two prepaid nights. This is obviously a well worn facility, but for a night's sleep it's worth it to save a few bucks. Some issues need to be addressed: 1. Where do you check in? Three hotels use the same registration lobby. The Days Inn sign pointing to the lobby is no help at all! 2. What time is breakfast? I do not recall the desk agent saying anything about breakfast time or where it was served. I found nothing in the room to help me other than the usual PR about "doing everything possible to make your stay as comfortable as possible." Result: I missed breakfast. So....I can't complain about the quality of the "free" breakfast.

Right when I arrived, I noticed a sign that said Super 8 and then another one that said "Days inn" so theres confusion as to whether or not you're at the right place or who owns it. Receptionist initially couldn't find my reservation but then found it in a couple minutes. For some reason they made a photocopy of my license and ab old-fashioned carbon copy of my debit card. I thought we were living in a digital age now. Room was very clean and no damage. There was heater/AC wth weird instructions saying system used hot and cold water. Never heard of this but ok. Room was well furnished. Only complaints: body towels were very small and cheap, shower head wouldn't move, and I could hear neighbors very late at night and early in morning. Poor sound insulation between rooms. Right when I arrived at 6:30 pm, another e woman bad a similar complaint while I was checking in. Not a bad place but there are a lot better ones in reno.

Just a motel to stay for a special event that did not raise their rates due to the event. Convienent location and good food service on site.

The stay was pleasant. The only feedback is that the toilets sit very low to the ground. Hard to get up or down.

I really admire days inn airport. Its a home away from home with very comfy beds. Rooms are clean and comfy. They have micro and fridge with breakfast provided every morning. I highly recommend.

I found this place to be a home away from home. Its clean, nice staff, and a respectable property.

Bathroom was not clean - particularly the floor. The beds were uncomfortable. The heater fan was noisy and could not be shut off.

We were very grateful that Days Inn charged a reasonable price for a nice room and a new pillow top mattress when other hotels were overcharging due to local events in town. Clean, comfortable, professional hotel staff, we will stay here again!

Room was a little dated, bathroom was undated. room was clean. WiFi worked well.

The room was cramped and not well maintained. Wouldn't stay here again.

Relaxing comfort

Convienent location for shopping and visiting Tahoe.
