This is becoming our hotel of choice now for roughly the half way stop between the run to the Alps. The hotel is just off the Autoroute with ample parking. The hotel is very modern with ample space for the family of four. Modern bathrooms with a power shower. The breakfast is pretty good and offers all you need on a quick stop over. There is a McDonald's across the road if you need something quick and easy for the kids. There is also the biggest supermarket i have been to just over the road, which was handy as just before arriving to the hotel my oil warning light came on, so i was able to get some oil from the vast Carrefour. The Grill Courtipaille next door is also very good for a grill evening meal if not dining at the hotel restaurant. This is obviously a popular hotel with the Brits on a ski break as the hotel carpark was mainly filled with cars from the UK.
We have stayed at this Novotel several times before. It is in a very convenient location just off the motorway and across the road from a Carrefour supermarket and petrol station. We were very happy with our room which was one of the nearest to reception. The master bed was very comfortable. The children's beds were the fold out camp beds with the blue blankets. One of the blankets had an old cigarette burn hole in it. I mentioned this to the receptionist on the way out and she said she would tell the cleaners but did not apologise. It would be better if the children's beds had duvets as at the Dijon Novotel. This hotel has a decent size bar area and there is an alcove which is ideal for a few families travelling together to meet up. My son ordered a pannini which came looking burned. They cooked him another one which was fine. We had breakfast when the restaurant opened at 7am and there was a good spread of food at the buffet. I recognised the lady running the restaurant who has worked there for several years.
We were very pleased with the accommodating staff. They were especially gracious with my dog. The room was very clean with modern aesthetics. Great hotel to stay in while visiting champagne country. Close drive to veuve cliquot.
While the hotel is close to stores it's not close to sites. The breakfast was good and the rooms were a decent size and they were very clean. So as a road trip stop on the way to something better it was good.
We stoped over in this hotel on our way to the French Alps. We had a family room for 2 adults and 2 children. The location is good, close to the main autoroute so no chance of getting lost. The rooms are comfortable but fairly basic. Hotel also well located if you want to visit the Historic city of Reims. Breakfast was good with a variety of food options. Dinner menu was quite expensive and there's not alot of restaurant options close by.
Heading to the Alps - a perfect stop off just off the A26 motorway. Clean if a little basic rooms with a good breakfast. Works very well and we will be back again. Would suggest it to anyone heading North/South from the UK to the South of France.
Stopped here at last minute because it was convenient whilst driving from Calais to Switzerland across France. It was very expensive, the room was too hot (we couldn't get it any cooler) the bed wasn't very good compared to Premier Inn and the pillows were impossible. Terrible nights sleep. I wouldnt staying here again.
This is an excellent hotel tthat we use whenever we stop over when we travel back from the Alps. The location is excellent, lots of places eat nearby. The rooms are well equipped and the restaurant breakfast is excellent. Staff are always friendly and helpful, and check in is very quick.
Ended up a walk in on the busiest night of the ski travel half term pandemonium. They gave me a family room for a reasonable price and it was soooo much better than the campanile (which we had booked but refused to stay in) Thank you for saving my family!!!
We've used this hotel several times as an overnight stop on the way to France or Italy. It's one of the friendliest hotels I've stayed in and not at all what you expect from a big chain. Even late at night the staff are really welcoming and make a special effort with our young boys. It's not just an overnight stop on the way to holidays, for us it's the start of them.
