Hotel was really clean, staff really helpful and friendly. Hotel was really close to the beach. We will definitely stay here again.

This hotel is so nice. It's convenient to so many things like restaurants, stores, and the beach. The staff from the time we walked through the door until we left were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying at the Comfort Inn to my family and friends!

When I arrived to check in I discovered to my surprise that the hotel was not notified of my reservation; even the confirmation number did not register. Whether Orbitz dropped the ball, or whatever the reason, the I did not have a reservation. The hotel desk person, Dana, was very patient and accommodating; luckily there were rooms available and she gave me a room at the same price that Orbitz advertised. I can't emphasize enough how friendly and helpful Dana was. The entire hotel staff was friendly and helpful with directions to various restaurants and points of interest. The complimentary breakfast was well done with a variety of choices. Despite the reservation snafu,I would stay here again. Whether or not I use Orbitz again is another story.

Room is spacious, comfortable bed and linen. Clean and fresh room. Front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. Free breakfast was sufficient. Convenient parking and location.

I thought it was a very nice room, very clean and comfortable. I thought the staff at breakfast were very courteous.

Room clean, but a bit noisy in the hallway around midnight.

Good hotel beds could be a bit softer. Will go back

My husband and I have enjoyed our stays at The Comfort Inn on Coastal Highway near the beach. We especially enjoy being within walking distance of stores and restaurants. The beach is about 1/2 mile from the hotel and this is desirable since parking on Rehoboth Avenue is almost impossible. But most importantly, the staffing of the hotel is excellent. They are always welcoming and helpful.

Used Comfort Inn at off-season rates to visit Rehoboth Beach, Lewes, the Ocean City boardwalk with an emphasis on looking at outlets and shops selling antiques and books. Comfort Inn was well located for all purposes. Breakfast was set out nicely. Warm cookies were put out for guests in the evening. Tourism brochures were well stocked. I have used Rehoboth Beach for business travel lodging in the past. The amenities and facilities at the Comfort Inn are adequate for a longer stay, if we had done that.

The hotel is clean, staff is nice, free breakfasts. It is located next to a large chain grocery store which can be very convenient. It is also between the outlet stores and the beach so either destination is close. On the whole this is a decent hotel. I've stayed there several times.

I had a very nice stay here. I was in town for business and this met all my needs.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again

Hotel is in a great location and recently renovated. Great value. Outlets are minutes away and Dewey and Rehoboth Beach waterfront is about 5-10 minutes away depending on traffic. Bed is a little on the stiff side. Rooms closer to the road can hear the traffic going by. Breakfast was good and had plenty of options.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and well-stocked for a modern traveler. Stayed here in the offseason, but i know there would be tons of traffic trying to get to the beach in the summer. Hotel is located near the outlets. Plenty of places to dine and drink nearby, included a handful in walking distance.

My wife & I decided to take a last minute trip to Rehoboth over Labor Day weekend. Staying Thursday to Sunday - we had a wonderful time. The hotel was close to everything. Room was clean, with beds made, new towels & toiletries replaced daily. Free breakfast was adequate to start our day. Like others, we chose to head to the Starbucks in the next door Safeway for our morning coffee and other items needed for day to day. Recommend if you are looking for somewhere central to stay.

Stayed at this hotel during Memorial Day weekend, nice hotel, friendly staff, a little pricey but expected MDW. Only disadvantage is location, although only 3 miles to Rehoboth or Dewey beach, it is not walking distance and a taxi is required.

This hotel is conveniently located near shopping and restaurants, while still just a couple of miles away from the beach. Hot breakfast served each morning. The staff was super-nice and helpful. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Wondered why we got a rate that beat everyone else, thought it was just Or bitz doing an awesome job. We arrive to see the outside of the hotel was being renovated. We're assured at check in that it's just the outside the rooms had already been done and all construction activity ends before 8pm - ok cool. The room is great - but it has a fairly strong smell of adhesive/glue.and the outside of the window is taped over with a semi transparent tarp. Head back out to the car for our bags and I notice the hallways smell like someone's smoking a cigarette...but nobody's in the hallway...there's a large group outside the entrance door (which is kept open due to the construction) like a mini smokers convention for construction workers and guests. Day 2 - Good breakfast and nice area, but it feels like a dump because of all the flies buzzing around while you eat. We return from a day of baseball, go to get some ice (for a drink and to ice a knee) and nothing comes out...go to the 3rd floor and same thing no ice - great. Luckily Safe-way is next door, so I grab a few bags, fill up the cooler, and wheel it to the room. Construction workers were cutting some type of foam/fiber board and it looked like snow all over the place - whatever, I'm not the one cleaning it up. Get back into the room and the adhesive/glue smell is really strong which now makes sense, the board material is being glued to the outside of the building and the smell is pulled in by the AC unit. Day 3 - more of the same. Tell the front desk about the ice problem and the response was "yep we're aware of that, you can go over to Safe-way to purchase ice." we arrived back at our room at 3:00pm and housekeeping hadn't been by yet. Housekeeping stops by at 3:30pm and we have to sign off that we didn't want them to clean the room - just replace the towels. Room still smells like we've been huffing adhesives all day. Now things got a little interesting at night. I was up late, around 11:15-11:30pm doing some baseball laundry for the next morning when I hear scraping and tapping noises from above our window...like someone is trying to fish wiring through the walls...or trying to claw their way out of the drywall. Not much of a bother to me, but would have freaked my son out if he woke up hearing that. Day 4 - time to check out. Need to ask for a late check out - 2pm instead of the usual 12pm. They approve me for a 1pm...apparently because they were booked up for the entire weekend and I was lucky to get the 1pm extension. REALLY? It's Sunday the place is almost empty when we get back to the room at 12, and the day before housekeeping couldn't even make to our room until 3:30??? But guess what - the ice machine got serviced...and still wasn't ready to spit out any ice. We had stayed here before and it was good, which is what I expected given the rate. This time I wish I had booked somewhere else, paid more money, and had a better experience. NO, I would NOT recommend this place, nor will I book a room with this place or chain of properties unless it's my only option.

Not real impressed. Staff was polite. Our room door would loudly rattle every time rooms next to us slammed their doors shut. Annoying feature. Can't understand why they are not aware of that. Second issue was out of control kids running talking loud in the hallway. Not that the hotel can control much of that, but it occurred over our short stay. Positive stuff, location is good.

Good location, nice clean rooms. Pool was clean. Great restaurant next door. Would definitley go back again.
