Un B & B parfait ! Nous sommes restés 5 nuits (2 adultes et 2 enfants) et nous avons tout apprécié : l'emplacement (à deux pas du port pour la Sicile, à deux pas du début de la lungomare, à 5 minutes des Bronzes de Riace), la qualité des chambres (literie impec) et aussi l'accueil du propriétaire ou du père du propriétaire : un homme charmant, avec qui nous avons discuté le matin au petit-déjeuner. Quel plaisir de pouvoir discuter ainsi. Je recommande dix mille fois !!!

Great stay at this hotel… very friendly staff , not unisual for Italians and let alone Calabrese people … The breakfast is very nice and filling, continental with vienoiserie , juices, a variey of coffee brews… fruit , toast…. The owner is extremely helpful… it is a great place , very central, walkable to the corniche, beach and night life…the areas is very safe and quiet… air con works well,and I am definitely coming back for aonger stay in Regg Calabria.

Hard to find but comfortable. Near promenade.

It is hard to find. It is down a small dead-end street (not quite an alley) but there is a sign on the street. I arrived late-ish but they were there waiting and moved a car so that I could park in the dead-end street. The neighborhood seemed sketchy at first but after walking around it felt OK. It's near the port and the promenade. Despite arriving late-ish I still had time to enjoy the promenade along with all the locals and get something to eat. The ferry is back out of town, which I was heading to the next morning, but it was still nice to spend one night and see another city. Eventhogh I was too late for breakfast, they still gave it to me.

A little institutional but great service

We chose this hotel because of the location and because of the price. We got exactly what we expected on both counts - it was an easy walk from the ferry terminal and then to the museum, and the room was basic but adequate. The room had a bit of an institutional feel - not updated for quite some time and a little drab, but it was sufficient. Where this hotel excelled was the service we got. We were catching a bus to the airport and the host went so far as to walk us to the cafe where we were to buy our bus ticket and showed us exactly where the bus stop was, making sure we knew the number of the bus. It was above and beyond what we would expect and was much appreciated.

Highly recommended

Basic, but spacious and very clean, staff very helpful, close to city for sightseeing. Well signposted. We don't do breakfast ( don't get up in time) so can't comment. Bicycles available for the suicidal and thrill seekers. And if you are hungry go three blocks to Pepys on via Roma and order a "fritto misto". A great place to stay when visiting Reggio Calabria. We had a fantastic stay at this B&B! We only stayed one night but in our 3 week trip to Italy this was the place where we had our best sleep! The beds were comfy, the room was a decent size, breakfast was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We parked our car and walked to everything (dinner, shopping etc) it was all very close. We would most definitely stay here again. Calabria is beautiful!
