Poor standards

Would not stay here again or recommend to colleagues. Asked for 3 days to 3 different staff for a fan and no-one bothered to get back to me. Luxury room booked but no luxuries. Luxury bed linin advertised but cheap low standard. Room not cleaned, asked after 2 days and they stated it was to save the enviroment, i didnt know making beds and emptying bins was saving the planet. Like many hotels, this one used covid to reduce number of cleaning staff any not clean rooms. Sign on check-in desk was in herman and then turned it round to display english version. Perhap tgey should mention this at check-i n. Check out the receptionist selected payment in Euros without giving me the option and the arogantly stated "we're in Germany" you pay in Euro. Restaurant closed for two days. Other than that nothing else was perfect.

Positioned beside the Rhine the Hotel affords a panoramic view of the surrounding area, nice food and helpful staff make the Hotel well worth visiting, combined with the lovely town it's a must for travellers.

Great breakfast and very friendly staff. The lady at the front desk made arrangements to make sure we got something to eat and special thanks to the chef who prepared a very tasty meal even though we arrived after hours due to travel delays. We only stayed one night, which was a shame. The hotel is on the river and I would have liked to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere for a couple more days. Highly recommend it.

No Spa for treatments

We booked the hotel as it had a Spa with massages etc. I tried phoning only to get answer phone in Germany so sent an email asking to book 2 massages. I received no reply. Upon check in we were told they had no massage facilities for the past 3 years but it’s on their German website with even prices etc. The toilet seat was covered with huge yellow stains so asked for it to be changed which they did. The fridge looked quite dirty so only used it for drinks. All in all it’s definitely not a 4* hotel.

This hotel is located on the Rhine River. It’s conveniently located near supermarkets, restaurants, banks, and anything else you could ask for or need. It’s a very beautiful historical town and I look forward to coming again and I would definitely stay at this hotel.
