Two-room apartment in the Residence near the Scala dei Turchi.
Composed of kitchen-living room with double sofa bed, bedroom with double bed and en-suite bathroom with bathtub. Equipped with a large terrace with wooden roof furnished with garden table and chairs and private parking space. The apartment is south facing. Equipped with all the essential comforts including a fan in the bedroom, mosquito nets in the windows of the same and a parasol for the sea .. The ideal place to spend a few hours of wellness in a cool green setting. The Residence is located in a strategic position, as it is close to the main cultural attractions on the east-west side of Sicily. It is 800 meters from the town where there are restaurants, supermarkets, medical, pharmacy, post office, etc. 1.5 km from the Costabianca Theater, from the sea, restaurants, bars, soccer fields, tennis courts. On the east side you can visit just 1 km from the Residence, the Roman Villa of Realmonte, located on the Punta Grande beach dating back to the 1st century. d. CA few hundred meters you will be dazzled by a light almost the wonderful Scala dei Turchi (see photo). It is to be recognized as a World Heritage Site, consisting of a suggestive spur of white marl prominent on the sea, shaped by the sea in shape ladder. 5 km from the birthplace of L. Pirandello, A. Camilleri and boarding for the islands of Lampedusa and Linosa. 13 km from the Valley of the Temples, archaeological museum. On the west side only 12 km away we find the Torre Salsa nature reserve (and much more ..... A strategic point to visit all of western Sicily !! Apprtamento carino, ma circola poco l’aria soprattutto quando si cucina. Per soggiornare reputo necessario avere un’auto personale perché MOLTO lontano dal mare (35 min a piedi). Non disponendo di nessuna, ci era stato assicurato che esistevano mezzi (a pagamento) per arrivare in spiaggia o fare escursioni, cosa non vera. I “taxi” sono delle carrette (api) che quando gli gira fanno il loro lavoro (es. abbiamo aspettato un’ora e mezza sotto al sole cocente senza che arrivassero mai), e l’unica volta che siamo riuscite a utilizzarle la cifra chiesta era tripla rispetto a quello che ci era stato garantito precedentemente. Grazie ma no grazie. La camera era fornita di tutto, asciugamani e lenzuola comprese, idem per bagno e cucina/salotto. Dispone di ventilatori, prodotti per la pulizia e tv. Ottimo luogo dove soggiornare se in confidenza coi gatti randagi, che entrano quotidianamente nell’appartamento passando dall’unica porta finestra (che deve rimanere aperta per respirare).
