This is our go to hotel when travelling to Reading. Hotel is clean, staff friendly, excellent breakfast, pool, sauna. Its location is a short walk to the town centre and the Oracle shopping area and canal side restaurants. Nice stay for the evening. Central location, rooms were clean, many power and USB charge points in the room and staff were friendly and welcoming. Areas to improve: - room cards kept getting de-magnetised. Need to pop down to reception multiple times. - room toilet fixtures should be updated. A bit nitty but tap in my room was positioned pretty awkwardly to use.
