A really tranquil boutique hotel 20 mins journey from the mainland. quiet well fitted rooms, a lovely sandy beach getting the sunrise for the early birds. Bathrooms with large showers and outside seating to relax in. The resort staff were so very friendly, the infectious Thai smile not forced. And the food was top quality, a real surprise at this price range. A word on the wifi. while never perfect it was much better than expected although i would not want to stream a film. But why would you want to when coming here for peace and relaxation.

We first came by cab from Suvarnabhumi airport to Nuan Thip pier... It was close to a three hour journey by a private cab which costed 2500 baht. At 1.00 pm the hotel sends it's ferry boat to the pier, so we did a lil shopping before that, as we had ample time until we were picked up. It's better to stay in touch with the hotel and inform them that you have reached the pier, so that they make it a point to send the ferry without fail. The travel from the pier to the resort was more or else a 20 minute ride. Which is totally bearable. After all the travelling one does to get here, the rooms make it all worth it. Taking up a beach facing Bungalow *the best one there*, is nothing short of a luxury. As we reached the warm welcome, with a refreshing drink and smiling faces were just perfect. The rooms were sparkly clean. With 2 bottles of water, toiletries and a lovely eucalytus air diffuser. The bathroom was so spacious and the shower area is separated with an exposed yet meshed ceiling/covering. (I'm sorry I'm unable to upload those pictures, as my phone's acting up😾) . The resort also offers a drink (anything on the menu) everyday per individual on the house *you need to request for it at the bar*. You can also rent out a bike, which will cost you 300baht/24 hours. The breakfast is also really really something to enjoy. All in all a quite, romantic, calm getaway. Totally enjoyable and worth every penny (or rather Rupee 😁) spent. A special thank you to Mr. Lon for helping us via mail and call, right from the day we did the booking.

It was a very quiet spot on the island. My husband booked for deluxe beach front, We were happy with the room, decorations and the restroom was so big, except the garden and area front of our burgalow was so cluttered, it showed that no any gardener take care of it for awhile. Special Thanks for the receptionist man, gave us special compensated due to the pool was underconstruction. He was really nice and friendly. We really appreciate it.

Planning our mini-trip to Samet Island, we wanted that everything was as much perfect as it possible. To reach this perfectness, we with my husband determined the yardstick, basing on which we gonna find the hotel. The first criteria became the location of hotel. Our family is not fond of night parties. So, we wanted to stay in a quiet and secluded area. We didn’t want being disturbed by nothing but waves and jungle sounds. Secondly, we wanted to live in a hotel on the first beach lane. We also wanted to swim in a clean water and take sun baths on the clean sand, respectively. The third yardstick was a sea view from the windows of our room. Finally, availability of all necessary facilities in the hotel room was principal for us, also. Having determined our yardsticks, we analyzed about 20 different hotels. We compared their descriptions on various web sites. In the end, we had chosen the “Mooban Talay Resort”. And, you know, we have no regrets about this decision. Moreover, now we know for sure, where we’ll stay in our next trip to Samet. In this Hotel. Anyway, first things first. The Hotel is situated on the first beach lane. To be exact, on the Ao Noi Na Beach, in the north of the Island. Having crossed round the Island, I can say with certainty, that there was no more secluded spot than area where our Hotel was located. It took just 20 minutes to get the Resort from NaDan Pier by walking. However, if you are not fan of walking, you can take one of numerous tuk-tuks and to get to the hotel in 10 minutes for 30 baht (with other tourists) or for 200 baht and more (if you will be the only passengers). There is one more variant, how to get the Hotel. Hotel provides their guests with free transfer from the mainland to hotel private pier. The boat departures from the mainland at 13.00 every day. And you'll be in a Hotel by check in at 14.00. By the way, the boat back to the mainland departures at midday every day, also. Straight after check out. In other words, it is a really convenient service. To arrange such kind of transfer, I recommend to write to hotel representative via e-mail. Moreover, I strongly recommend to be in touch with them for any raising questions. The Hotel spokesperson is always ready to solve any of customer’s wish. Here comes a moment to talk about the beach and the sea. The sea near the hotel has amazing emerald-green color. We were here in a sweep of the tides season, and from the first sight it seemed to us that water near the beach was a bit silty. But it’s turned out to be that you have to go more deeply, and you will find yourself, surrounding by water of beautiful color. It was really unforgettable. Entry to the sea is without sharp downs. The only uncomfortable thing was a lot of little stones and shells under feet. So, we were careful. Anyway, I also consider this moment as one of the consequences of a sweep of the tides season. As for the beach, so Ao Noi Na is an unbelievable clear beach with a bright white sand. There were enough of sun loungers. Hotel also provides their guests with beach towels, which you can exchange near the swimming pool zone, whenever you want. Yes, one more important detail: Hotel has its own swimming pool opposite the beach! In other words, you’ll get your upscale beach rest, for sure. One more service suggested by the Hotel is a free rent of kayak. You can try youself at seafaring, if you want. Personally, we recognized that we were not good at it. Anyway, we got unforgettable impressions. I’d like to mention briefly some words about our house. We had chosen the “sea view bungalow”. Unfortunately, by the time when we were booking, all “Beach front bungalow” were already occupied. So, I personally asked the hotel spokesperson to tackle this problem, and he did. Mr. Lon presented to us opportunity to admire the sea, sitting outside of our bungalow. I want to notice, that we were the only guests who had such wonderful view from the window (we lived in house, number 124) Other “sea view bungalows” has view on houses in front of them. We decided that next time we’ll chose one of the “beach front bungalow”, because of an direct sea view. Inside of the bungalow was the room with a big and comfortable bed and enough space for baggage. There was a little dressing room with a mirror. Also there was a shower under almost open sky: we were taking a shower, being surrounding with jungle sounds. By and large, the house was clean and cute, because room service was available every day. In a conclusion of my sizeable feedback I want to say many thanks to the Crew of Mooban Talay. To each and every one. I appreciate your high end service and sincere goodwillness. I especially grateful to Mr. Lon, who made everything to make my Birthday special. Thank you so much. As I said in the beginning of my feedback, we’ll be back to Mooban Talay Resort, for sure. Mainly, because Mooban Talay Resort is fully satisfied us as a guests. I want to wish the Hotel and Its Crew a prosperity and grateful clients every single day. See you.

Good option for a short stay in koh samet. The resort is located in the far end of the island coastline , far from noisy nightlife, or cars, or boats. Very peaceful and quiet surroundings in the Forrest. The breakfast is very good value, coffee is good. Wifi strong enough in the room.

Great choice Location Hotel offers return free transfers from pier to hotel. Rooms: Bungalows on the beach front are great value for money. Un-interrupted views of the sea with excellent amenities. Food and Beverage: Breakfast could not be better. Staff: The staff are extremely welcoming and very friendly Perfect place if you are seeking peace, tranquility and relaxation.

The food was amazing. Not to pricey considering we were on an island at a resort. I wish I was staying here. The grounds looked beautiful and quite. On my beach right now there are like 40 people in this beach there was 4.

Best place for a weekend gateaway. Total relaxation. It has been busy at work and I needed a quiet relaxing place to clear my mind and I felt deeply impressed once I stepped into the lobby. So peaceful. So beautiful. Attentive service staff. Rooms are clean and spacious. Not to mention Very delicious food. It is not the cheapest place on Samed and far from everything but worth it. Very have to mention about the staff again. They are super helpful, very flexible. Always smile. I love the place.

We love everything about it. I'm a regular at Koh Samed and usually pick a hotel depends on what I need at the time. This time I wanted a serene place where we have a private beach and pool. The Hotel is beautiful, food is good, staffs are very helpful and friendly. And to get to the hotel by a hotel boat is very convenient. I have no complain. If you wanted to get a night life of the other side of the island then it only cost 200 baht to get a ride or 100 for motor bike rent. There are many restaurants at a walking distance too if you feel like a change. happy stay!

We meets with friendly personal and get a bungalow right on the beach. The room was big for us two.Outdoor shower was lovely.Breakfast was ok.We eat dinner at the restaurang every evening and food was very good.Staff was very kind to us.
