We booked a 9 night stay at the Meet Hotel. When we got taken to our room by 2 staff in a buggy we heard loud music blaring next to the swimming pool it was a New Zealand man drunk and playing loud music he was in the next room to us! Then we were woken up at 2AM a few nights later by the same man playing extremely loud music I had to knock on his door to tell him to turn it off!! There is no security men checking the villas and not checking that guests are safe which is very poor and unsafe! the next morning Very Rude Russian guests arrived at 5AM and sat around the pool next to our room and were talking very loudly and drinking heavily!! AGAIN I had to go out the room and tell them to keep quiet we are trying to sleep! We should not be subjected to this very bad and rude behaviour on holiday! And when the same guests checked out at 5AM they are shouting and arguing very loudly again woke us up and banged on every rooms door being very nasty!!! Again NO SECURITY The room is about 1 mile from reception and set back from the road by 800 meters a 15 minute walk from the beach and the shops. THE ADVERT IS VERY MISLEADING IT LOOKS LIKE THE HOTEL IS DIRECTLY ON THE BEACH IT IS NOT! IT IS A 15 minute 800 meter walk!! Thanida the Manageress the reception staff cleaners are good and helpful. The breakfast is very basic the breakfast staff did not want to talk to guests and were unfriendly Had to move hotels 4 nights early! was not refunded by the owner in full that’s bad

we had a pool room off the patio however there was no ladder to enter or exit the pool....what's the point the lead photo of the property shows a fantastic looking beach with the caption direct access. there is no direct access because there is no beach. beach loungers umbrellas towels. There is no Beach. 100 yards away there are rock walls. 500 yards away there a sandy area where a couple dozen longboats shore up. We rented scooters to find a beaches 3-15 km away. the beaches we found were awesome lol

Hotels.com had this place listed as a 5 Star luxury hotel. Not a chance, more like 2 to 3 stars at best. Room was OK, but all communal areas needed a good clean and breakfast was awful with plastic plates! I am not a child, and we are not camping. Sandy floors everywhere, toilet in breakfast room was a health hazard. Elevator was really dirty with stains on all walls. Hotels.com - You need to downgrade this hotel accordingly.

Our stay at Meet at Rawai was great. The hotel looks good, the greenery around is amazing and the rooms are very clean, with towels and sheets changed daily. The staff is quiet and pleasant. You'll also receive bottled water and instant coffee. The property features two pools, which our family enjoyed using. The only drawback from my side is that the hotel promotion page is misleading as it features beach access, without mentioning that the beach is not for swimming (although it's really close). Also, we visited at the beginning of the season, and it was quiet. However, as more people arrived and the hotel became busier, we could hear them through the walls. Overall, this hotel provides excellent value for money.

My family and I stayed here for nearly two weeks and had a wonderful experience. The staff were always helpful, friendly, and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel’s location is excellent—close to restaurants, supermarkets, and the ocean. For swimming, the best nearby beach is just a 10-minute drive away. A special thank you to Porpang for her outstanding hospitality and for assisting us with car rental arrangements and booking our trip to the Phi Phi Islands, which was truly unforgettable.

Great location, very clean rooms, safe, walkable to food and convenient stores. Do be prepared to have 500bht for key deposit. Washer and dryer you can use between the hours of 10-7. Walls are thin so you can hear neighbors, but everyone was very respectful of noise level. We would stay again!

Most pleasant stay at the meet Holiday

The stay was quite good. The room is spacious enough and clean . It’s not noisy, and the staff are friendly and helpful when need be . Had a hot water issue for a few days but they fixed this as soon as they could . Pool is nice without being great. Breakfast is pretty good as well. Many Thai dishes and western food ect . Close to all local activities, cafes, restaurants, bars and massage and sauna. Overall highly recommended. Cheers

The staff are not friendly at all and don’t speak good english. When we got to our room on the 3rd floor (no lift and heavy cases) we found a dirty floor mat in our room. Later on I also found a pile of dirt under my pillow. We then went down to the pool and it is absolutely infested with mosquitoes so is impossible to sit on the poolside without getting constantly bitten. We then went back up to our room and were getting changed when a staff member walked in without knocking the door!!!!! The service here is just awful. I would not recommend staying here.
