Visited Ravenna for a night on the way to Rimini. NH is situated at the edge of the city centre with everything within 10 minutes' walk. The room and breakfast was superb. Our dog could stay with us. Reception was very helpful.
I actually stayed twice at this hotel - in March and in April - and my review will be about both the stays. The first time I was in a standard room and the second time - at an executive room. Both room provided enough comfort but of course the executive room was much larger and had some extra amenities. like bottled water, tea\coffee maker, a bathrobe, some extra toiletries. The hotel is situated in the center of the city and every sight is within a walking distance. So even if you are in Ravenna on business, you can still have a little sightseeing time. There are lots of shops and good restaurants around and any recommendation of the hotel staff proved to be very good. The hotel is very clean and elegant, there is a restaurant and a bar on the first floor. The beds are very comfortable. The staff of the hotel was extremely efficient and friendly. We also received many recommendations about sightseeing, they provided maps and brochures. Breakfast at the hotel is lavish, with lots of choices and everything I tried was delicious. Coffee machines provide excellent fresh coffee.
The location is really good because by foot you can reach the railway station or.the center, in front just a big open parking with a rate per hour.. The hotel itself is bit old, rooms are clean but nothing special..maybe some parts need a renovation The good staff is always available and nice Breakfast good as standard NH
I stayed at this hotel for 1 night on a business trip in August. I had a room on the 4th floor overlooking the piazza in front. The room was nicely decorated, not very modern but very pleasant. It had all the usual amenities, mini-fridge, closet with safe-deposit box, complimentary toiletries (I do not recall iron/ironing board - did not look for it...), flat-screen tv, coffee-tea preparation equipment etc. Bedding was good, the bathroom nice and spacious enough. The room was clean, and the A/C unit was very effective on the very hot and humid evening I stayed there. The interior spaces of the hotel are good, clean and taken care of, and my only gripe would be the elevators which are very slow and look a bit run-down. The front desk was very pleasant and efficient, and assisted me with car parking and late dinner suggestions in the area. The breakfast was ok, not too much to choose from but everything was nicely laid out and prepared professionally. The location is very central, although I did not have the opportunity to explore the area around the hotel. The cost was 83 euros for single occupancy, which I consider good value for money. All in all it was a good stay, I would stay there again and I would recommend it.
The hotel is the best of 11 hotels we have stayed on our last trip to Italy. A welcoming reception, immaculate rooms, a rich breakfast and an excellent service in the dining room. Another noteworthy advantage of the hotel, is its proximity to the World Heritage Sites Ravenna is blessed with.
The hotel location is very convenient: right in the center, parking is very close to the hotel. Price/quality is very good: quality of sleeping, breakfast, personnel. We really liked our stay there. Highly recommend.
Very nice hotel, close to the city center, perfect location, quiet area , i will recommend this hotel to all my friend when they visit Ravenna, the staff is very friendly and the room big and well furnished and clean.
Entrance looks new while rooms look very old. Key cards take long to open the door. Don't like that when leaving my stuff in a room. I need access to my room. When I pay at a hotel I need a receipt with no asking. I don't want misunderstandings with hotel, you know what I mean. I have to ask and insist to get it. Not much fresh food at breakfast. Not many vegan options. Breakfast is too much about process, unhealthy foods. I still don't get NH architects who seem to enjoy making shower/bath tub tiny and very uncomfortable. Too many buttons. Too many outlets for water. How about a normal, comfy shower? Pillows seemed to have some kind of "feathers" which seem to be sticks from feathers? Very inconsiderate to use feathers when this world is trying to be mindful of all beings. Also, pillow cases with stains. Just throw them out and buy new!
This hotel is a very short walk from the train station and near all the top sites in Ravenna. The room was attractive, the bed was very comfortable and the breakfast buffet eas one of the best I've had in many years of travel. Very highly recommended.
Stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights. It is a great location, very close to the centre of town and lots of restaurants and bars. The rooms were big and comfortable and the internet fast enough. My room had a bath with a shower in that I don't like, but person preference. It also took quite a while for the AC to cool the room and it never did really get cool enough. The staff were very friendly and their English was much better than my Italian! Breakfast was very nice. I also managed to get a coffee when we left early for the airport at 5:30am.
