Pillow cases had stains. We had to pay extra for the dog, they would not put in on the charge card that paid for the room. No Breakfast was served like advertised. When we went to check out they would not give us a receipt except for the dog fee. There was too much furniture in the room. We felt like we were walking in a maze.

It was inexpensive and showed its age. They are working on renewing the property, but for now it's a bit rough.

The place was tidy but the walls were dirty the room smelled musty and like urine. The staff was extremely friendly and nice but the conditions of the hotel were less than to say the least. I was afraid to lay my head on the pillow and that I might get bedbugs or fleas. The whole place looked like it was falling apart. For $150 maybe that is normal for Raton. $131 room $20 dog fee.

Clean and comfortable. Could easily hear neighbors and noise from outside.

There was no coffee in the lobby when I left at 6 am. Lame

This is a low low end property. It is misrepresented by the pictures. To be transparent I am an international business traveler and am used to 3-star and above. However, as a pit-stop on a road trip I expected more, especially for $113. There were bugs in the room (not bedbugs), the door was flimsy, there was another door connected to the adjacent room that was flimsy and the guests next door tried to push it open at one point, it has a window AC unit that was loud, etc.

Breakfast area was a wreck, my wife spent 10 minutes cleaning herself while staff walked by the room.

The room was being renovated. Should not have been available.

Reservation clearly stated for 4 persons yet only 2 towels in room. On asking the front desk for towels, they unapologetically said that it will have to wait until sometime the next day. That is absolutely unacceptable, especially with the nonchalant attitude about it.

Bugs in room, light bulbs missing from lights no tissues

I liked the location and access to the interstate and nearby restaurants.

Precisely on our route and excellent value. Not five star of course but pristine room, comfy bed, clever corner shower reminiscent of a cruise ship, coffee for one in room, waffles/oatmeal/cereal/fruit for breakfast, no eggs/sausage, staff very nice. Almost one-third what we paid for a Tru Hilton in Amarillo and more comfortable. Would stay here again.

The beds are not very comfortable, but for the price I guess one cannot expect more.

Toilet was clogged, room stunk, phone didn’t work! Had to switch rooms and it was about the same

Convenient to I25 and heading east out of Raton. The property next door is kind of trashy but it’s a great low budget place.

Due to Corona Virus, Coffee and breakfast is not being served for your own safety. There are other restaurants in town which you can utilize. State orders of New MEXICO.
