Really had a good stay with beautiful view of beach and room. Very neat and clean hotel.. have to say Tintu .. front desk manager who was extremely cordial, helpful and also took us for a short tour of hotel explaining in detail about the hotel .. God bless .. hope to come back again
We were upgraded to a larger 1 bedroom apartment but the room was only made available to us at 4.30 pm (1.5 hours after check in time). Before check out we requested for a late check out to compensate for the late check-in but sadly that was denied due to full occupancy. The room did not feel anywhere close to a 5 star. There were stains on the furniture and on the carpet. The bed room light switch was crooked. The pool was great and Andrea at the reception was extremely polite and helpful.
Waldorf, Waldorf, Waldorf. We love you! With your fancy marble floors, over the top breakfast buffet and gorgeous outdoor facilities. You never disappoint! The hotel itself is beautiful, but also the staff is super polite and well trained. The food is superb, especially Lexington Grill! Yum yum yum! For sure we will come back another time to relive these precious memories you gave us and to create many, many more. But please: Get rid of the mosquitos!!! Thank you, LimCim
We booked the King junior suite for 2 days and oh my, it was not really a juinior suite. Looked really like a royal suite. I have been in many 5 star properties but this one is really on top among them. Rooms are plush with the staff working together to make your trip a memorable one. Beach access is easy and restraunt's too are very good.
This is a truly magnificent hotel in a wonderful location. We were here in April for our third stay in 4 years, and it just gets better and better. Lots of nice new touches like covers on the luggage trolleys, upgraded sunbeds, ice lollies brought round the pool in the afternoon, extra food options, and more. Just when you thought nothing could be better! Stunning luxury, excellent facilities, and attentive service from friendly, smiling staff. Special thanks to Akram for looking after us in the restaurant along with Alina and Cheli, Akil in the piano bar for making excellent Espresso Martinis, the wonderful pianist (sorry we don't know your name but thank you so much for playing Happy Birthday for our son), Pranab & Sahnah in housekeeping, Fahed in the Lexington, and Bright at poolside. You are all stars and a credit to the Waldorf. Such a perfect break, we plan to keep coming back for more.
Faultless Hotel My husband and I visited the hotel for a 9 day stay. The checkin was very smooth, our room was lovely. The main buffet restaurant is really good, loads of choice and very well run. The Lexington restaurant is amazing, we visited it twice. The adults only pool is perfect with constant iced water provided as well as smoothies and ice lollies. We also attended The English Pub down the road. Don’t bother it’s rubbish, and about as English as The Saudi royal family. Bad service. On the other hand The Golf Club up the road is brilliant, with happy hour from around 5pm until 9. We ate there twice the food was lovely and very good value for money. It has a very friendly atmosphere. We would return in a heartbeat.
I stayed a weekend here at the Waldorf Astoria in Ras Al Khaimah. The arrival into the hotel was smooth and the valet service was quick to receive the car. The reception staff was efficient in handling the reservation and my room was allocated accordingly. What I Liked - Friendly and courteous staff - Smooth reservation handling - Fantastic Property, pool, bar and restaurants - The Rooms were large and tastefully done - The Linen was just how I would have wanted As for what I didn’t like, in the lobby there were many things that were not placed right or misaligned. Some of these things were in the lobby including the placement of a certain clock, the other elements where elevator switches installed at an angle and switches in the rooms which were misaligned. Most of these elements might not matter to many but it is a sore sight especially for a property that carries the name “Waldorf Astoria”
The hall is huge, too huge to my taste. The rooms are very nice and very big, so is the bathroom. Breakfast is also nice with a good selection. Bed is very confortable. The staff is very nice. The only thing missing is the absence « soul ».
Spent another 10 nights at the WA RAK and were not disappointed. It is truly a perfect hotel for families with kids. Staff is very personal, always interacting with our kids and providing service at the highest level. Again enjoyed the pool and kids are really allowed to remain kids in the pool. We played tennis almost every day, had some early issues with double bookings of the court, not really taken care of properly by upfront staff, but then Bellcy from the front office took over and solved it in a very professional way. Would want to especially mention Akram from the Qasr-al-Bahar; very personal service and our young daughter loved to see him in the morning and some of the evenings for dinner - unbeatable service. Food quality across the restaurants was very good also room service was of highest standard. Nothing to complain at all. It has become one of our favorite hotels as it is a rare combination of luxury resort with all the amenities while kids can still be kids across the whole hotel. We will be back soon - which says it all.
