Just had another amazing stay at the Waldorf Astoria, it never fails us, from the checking in, the friendly staff who cannot do enough for you, to the amazing suite we were given, the hotel is simply the best and I wouldn't go any where else in Ras Al Khaimah
I booked with my kids in the hotel it’s perfect for my family all service is perfect the staff was friendly and when i asked them they are happy to help the only thing that I really didn’t like is the baby bed it was really hard to put the baby inside ,,, but everything is just perfect I really recommended for everyone
So I have hit back to reality back in the UK from a wonderful stay in Dubai and Ras Al Kaihmah.. This hotel from the moment we arrived welcomed us with drinks and a friendly staff member Miroslav who checked us in easy quickly and swiftly as possible.. We were then escorted into our room where we were in awe with the size of the room which we had a classic. We had a walk in wardrobe and immaculate bathroom a living area and the most comfiest bed.. We had breakfast everyday and the variety of breakfast is unbelievable.. From egg station, to fruit sweet and savouries.. We tried out the restaurants at the hotel to which were out of this world.. The beach is a two minute walk outside the hotel where you a greeted with a friendly staff member who come and place the towel on your sun lounger for you and gave us complimentary water and ice cream to keep us hydrated.. We hired a car as we had come from Dubai and the valet team would always quickly and efficiently bring us our car and park our car away.. I felt like royalty in this hotel.. Every single staff member was super friendly and we were always greeted with ma'am and sir, good mornings, good afternoon and good evenings.. Cannot fault this hotel one little bit and by far the best hotel I have stayed.. Waldorf Astoria staff keep up the hardwork.. I always rely on reviews for booking and always leave a review for others to see.. I can say honestly i was very impressed from the word go..
We just arrived for a ten day family holiday. Very late check-in after a long flight was fast, smooth and very friendly. But one of three rooms was wrong and was complained at the same night. A very caring and extremely friendly handling of the whole staff during the room change next day. Everyone, really every one working in the Hotel has a simle, is sayong hello and reads the wishes in your eyes. I am travelling a lot in high class Hotels, but this staf is extraordinary guest friendly and motivated. Fantastic breakfest buffet, big, modern and very clean rooms with high class furnishing and materials, amazing pools with very comfortable sun chairs, extremely clean outdoor area including the beach. They catched us and we enjoy every day! Don‘t miss it when you are in the Emirates!
Had two nights in the Waldorf. Room was beautifully clean, bathroom just about perfect and service fantastic. Decor was very good but seemed a little mixed in styles. We had a larger room so had a sitting area and dressing room. The latter was a real bonus for my wife. Beach extremely clean, very white, of unusual texture, sea very very blue ... makes for great photos. We loved the service in the Lexington Restaurant.
I read many reviews regarding this hotel and the hotel is really wonderful. It takes one hour from Dubai airport Terminal 3 by a public taxi and costs cca. 210 AED. Check-in: We were greeted by Myroslav. He offered us a glass of juice. Check in was very smooth. We arrived very early, the rooms were not prepaid, but we went to the beach and when the rooms were ready, we got a call. The rooms: The prettiest room I have ever stayed. Huge, with 2 queen size beds, balcony with the view to the golf area. A big bathroom with 2 washbasins, bathtube and shower. A big walking closet. And the Nespresso machine for best coffee. Beach: long and wide with lots of sunbeds. Clear and warm water. Sport centre we did not use. Kind beach staff bring you 2 towels per person and bottle service. We used an adults pool which was very quite. The lobby is impressive, the marble is everywhere. In the evening the pianist plays and there is a wonderful fountain with gold clock in the middle of the hall. The hotel from outside is lighted as a gold piece of jewelery. We ate in the main restaurant. Breakfast: wild choice of everything. I loved hummus and smoothie. The buffet dinner was super also, only one thing to improve. We always sat on the terrace and there is not enough light for eating. All staff is always smilling and greeting. Surroundings is very quite in the evening, the closest mall is very small and not very attractive. There is no promenade with small shops but I believe that it will change in few monts. Overall: I highly recommend this beautiful hotel with a calm atmosphere.
A friendly beautiful hotel. The staff were very helpful from the reception,at the pool, dinning area, spa and the gym. Sports facilities are just wonderful. The beautiful long, white private sandy beach. Special thanks to our housekeeping staff Pranab and Josilyn. Food was excellent in all the restaurants. Cant wait to return.
Been to the hotel many times now. Staff, rooms are good. Quieter than Dubai but still has the weather. Restaurants are of good standard. Takes about an hour from Dubai airport but don’t let that put you off.
This is place exceeded all the expectations... beach is so big and nice, gardens are amazing!!special thanks to Petra, from reception, and Juliee ( hope I spell it right )from Lexington grill.... they made our stay amazing !!
We are a couple of 60+ and travelling quite a lot around the globe and visiting mainly natural and historical places . Mostly we enjoy lovely boutique places as well small personal lodges, but this time we looked for something slightly different. We are glad to share our experiences in a brief form below (including photos) with YOU: We intended to spend about 10 days in a sunny, warm & safe country for relaxing and some travelling: that’s why we have chosen the United Arabic Emirates and...we haven’t been disappointed! To prerecord: the Hotel “Waldorf Astoria” in Ras al Khaimah was and is the ideal place! Right from the check-in we felt in this 340-room hotel very comfortable & well cared, e.g. our wish for a changing in an upper floor room, the management was willing to accept. But finally we remained in our very vast king-junior-suite (about 70 square meters) on the fifth floor with a view on the beach and the waterfront in front plus a 180° panorama from the large balcony perfectly equipped with 2 wing chairs plus a small table. The appartement consists of 4 parts: large bedroom (with a big flat TV & music center), saloon (2nd large flat TV, fridge, espresso machine), walking closet (2 cupboards, a table, a safe), bathroom (2 washbasins, a bath) with separate shower & toilet. From the lounge on the ground floor there is a direct access to a coffee bar as well as into a huge open piano lounge with a lovely fountain in the middle and a separate smoking bar equipped with cosy leather armchairs. I had the opportunity to visit the masterpiece of this hotel on the 22nd floor: the 2 level king-imperial-suite for up to 8 persons with a stunning view especially from the balcony on all 4 cardinal directions. Breakfast as well as the other meals can be taken either inside the AC climatized dining hall or outside on the large smoking or non smoking terrace as well as in one of the other 6 restaurants. For breakfast as for dinner the 8 chef cooks and their big staff will feel you being in paradise: the enormous buffet will not leave one wish open, if so, the lovely staff (by the way perfectly English speaking) will be fulfilling your desires without hesitating! The friendliness & the helpful hands as well as all the smiling faces of all the staff from the reception to the gardeners are outstanding! A lot of sports facilities just on the hotel ground (2 swimming pools-about 33° C warm / 2 tennis courts) or very nearby (a 18 hole-golf-court) let the days pass faster than intended. The spa as the gym training I didn’t visit. The about 350m long, white private sandy beach with always enough longchairs is only a few steps away and the lifeguards give you the security on the seafront. I recommend to rent a car at the airport (about a 50 minutes drive) in order to visit the fabulous mountains around or crossing them to visit the east side of this “peninsula”. Maybe you wish to go over the border to Musandam/Oman what is really worth a visit I advice you to check in advance with your car rental office the allowance of crossing the border. --> Overall: I highly recommend this beautiful and model friendly place without any restrictions!
