Amazing hotel. Very beautifull decorated, wonderfull textiles, stylish, Big rooms, very clean and well kept. By the pool and on the beach you get an icebucket with bottles of water to keep you cool. But the real luxury was the staff. Everybody was very kind and their only task was to make you feel at home and any desire you had to forfill. And this on a very high level. Bravo.
Together with my wife we’ve stayed for 4 nights in the Waldorf Astoria Ras al Khaimah. After traveling through a lot of Hilton property’s in europe and the uae, we’re sure that the Waldorf Astoria Ras al Khaimah could be our new favorite. After a very quick 100 km trip from Dubai we arrived the hotel entrance and a kindly doorman opened the taxi door, took care of our luggage and a bellman guide us to the reception. I have to say we’ve stayed a lot of times at the Waldorf Astoria Berlin and we’re accustomed to their excellent service, but our first impression was like .. hopefully no one will notice how impressed we are!! The hugh entrance or the unique peacock alley looks amazing, we were just totally speechless. The check in with Petra was very charming, from the beginning to the end she gave us the feeling to feel like home, you’re amazing! For our surprise, the room was ready before 3 pm. We’ve got an upgrade to the 76 sq./m. King Deluxe room with sea view and balcony on the 6th floor. The walk-in closet, the luxury bathroom or the large balcony let us feel like in Arabian 1001 nights and if that were not enough, there was even a fruit plate & little cakes for us as a welcome treatment, yummy! The next morning we went to the Qasr al Bahar breakfast restaurant. My wife was totally excited that’s able to sit outside. The buffet was very plenty, there was a large selection of fruits, bread (we love the banana bread) or cereals and many other things. Especially we loved to mix our juice every morning with different taste of fruits / vegetables. Unfortunately, one thing i couldn’t find - peanut butter .. a attentive hostess ask me how she could help me and i told her about my little „problem“. She went to the kitchen and 2 minutes later there was a bowl of peanut butter on our table. From now on, every morning someone brought me a bowl with peanut butter on my place - unasked - this was incredible!! After a good breakfast of course we had to swim in the persian golf, the 350 m. private beach area is very large and quite. The lifeguards gave us some towels and a big ice bucket with complimentary refreshing water. After the sun bathing we went to temperature controlled pool and took some tasty cocktails at the Azure pool bar. Nearly every evening we went to the Camelia restaurant, you can relax by fantastic live music with a large selection of drinks and food/ snacks, or enjoy the live music with a tasty shisha. Unfortunately, our 4 days were quickly over .. we had a unforgettable stay, maybe the best stay i‘ve ever had in a hotel. Everyone of this lovely staff is living the true Waldorf service. The service was not acted, you can really see and feel that everyone want to do their best for the guest! We‘ll definitely come back, thank you for everything you did for us. People like you are the reason that traveling is one most beautiful things in a life you can do.
Loved every minute in this wonderful place. Excellent and very friendly service. Large and very lovely room with walk in closet, comfortable beds and spacy balcony. Can recommend a room with sea view. House keeping very friendly and top professional. Lovely and very delicious breakfast. Dinner - couldn't ask for more! And the staff were all so very helpful, always smiling and made you feel speciel and welcome. Beautiful pool area with best and most friendly service. Beach towels and bottled water free of charge. Would love to come back one day ❤️
First impression check-in: rather time consuming and complicated. I had to prove that indeed I booked for four and not for two persons. They absolutely wanted a print-out of my reservation, whereas I had it in the app (booking.com). Second Impression the room: finally there, time for a drink. What do I find in the mini-bar? An empty bottle of wine. Third impression dinner: ok, it was buffet, but when I get up from my table to get another plate, I expect the dirty plate be taken off the table once I am back. All this leads to the clear verdict: not worthy of a 5-star hotel The room itself was very spacious with a very big balcony offering splendid ocean view, I admit
This hotel is just amazing! We are traveling to the UAE since 2004 and have been to the best hotels there (Emirates Palace, Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, St Regis Saadiyat Island) - however we were truly amazed by the Waldorf Astoria RAK! My mom spend her birthday there and we not only got an upgrade but she was served a cake three times during our whole stay !!!! One on our day of arrival, then two on her birthday itself! Special thanks to Mr Kuvil from the main restaurant who organized an amazing birthday breakfast and made sure we got a perfect service every single day!!! Including complimentary mocktails for dinner, receiving our favorite table each day and and and ... he and his team truly allowed us to feel VVIP! Everything in the hotel is just so beautiful and luxurious and each employee is so kind ! And this is definitely not played but meant from heart! You can really tell this! Best example is Angaa from Pool & Beach! He does outstanding service each day! Also he made us feel so special! It is the details that count and he was just perfect! He always got ice cream for my little son and even knew a few words in Polish, which again makes u feel so happy :-) In Hotels like this it is not only the interior, the food or the service that counts- but it's the people/ employees that make the difference! You can have the greatest hotel but if ur employees are not good than also the hotel will be not good!! But at the Waldorf each employee is just very professional! Therefore we wanna give special thanks to Kuvil, Angaa and Said from Guest Relations and the housekeeping team (room 628) who made the cutest and most creative towel animals EACH DAY because they did an outstanding job during our whole stay! But not only them! We want to thank the Waldorf Astoria for making our stay unforgettable !! AndTo all readers- we can definitely recommend this hotel! 10 from 10 points! Everything is on top! The only (small) minus is it's location .. RAS AL KHAIMAH. Ras al khaimah is a very boring small city .. however if you are just looking for a beach escape .. this is perfect! Waldorf Astoria we already miss u, and since we are huge Abu Dhabi fans we would be very happy if u open a hotel there :) Kindest wishes from Munich, once again BIG THANK U! Milan'sMom :)
We returned from a stay at the Waldorf in RAK just yesterday and we were impressed. We had an ocean view room which was gorgeous; the room was spacious enough for my husband, myself and our 7 month old and all the paraphernalia she comes with. The hotel supplied a cot which was fitted with fresh linen and they went out of their way to be helpful. I would however suggest for any mums to bring your own baby linen as our little girl had a bad allergic reaction to what must be what they wash the sheets in, the first night she sneezed and coughed all night, eyes watering etc, but once I replaced the linen with her own blankets from home she was fine. Obviously not the hotel's fault but something to keep in mind. The healthy food options at the pool restaurant were great, the spicy chicken salad at Azure is amazing. We didn't get the chance to go to the restaurants for dinner but did have room service so as to be able to put baby to bed early. The service was really great and the food although pricey was lovely. The lamb curry was very good. The wine selection is unbelievably expensive but to be expected in a 5 star. Only a couple minor things that annoyed us, like requesting a bathrobe and it not being delivered at all, as well as we were told our room would be set up for our anniversary which also was forgotten, but this didn't affect our stay, we still had a good relax.
Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah is one of the best hotels we have ever been to! ( fyi we have travelled around 52 countries so far) I would definitely recommend this hotel to solo travellers, couples and families as everyone will find something very interesting to do there for sure. The luxurious exterior and interior, super tasty breakfast and staff made our experience perfect. Huge thanks from us to Ruth Marketing Manager, Akram Restaurant waiter and Thanini Breakfast Chef ( Sorry do not remember his name properly) ! You all made our stay unforgettable and we are already planning to come back.
We arrived Wednesday 4th October and as we had an overnight flight, we arrived at the hotel early at 8:30am and our room was ready for us. Really appreciated this! Hotel was amazing. We booked this holiday for our 10 year anniversary and really appreciated the little gestures throughout our stay (chocolate cake on the first night, swan towels on bed). The staff were so friendly and they genuinely seemed happy to be there. A special mention to Annie at the Peacock Alley, she had a drink ready for us every night and lovely to chat to. Also Mohammed Resiq at the concierge, he arranged our safari dessert experience Saturday 7th Oct - this was such a memorable experience! I would recommend to all my family and friends.
Ras Al Khaimah is about an hour and half from Dubai airport and so an easy transfer. It is worth the time as RAK is tranquil and the Waldorf is a true oasis . It has beautiful grounds with a lovely beach front location. The hotel and rooms are what you would expect for a 5 star hotel and the service was excellent. we would go back in a flash. Lexington Grill was awesome.
We (a family of 4 including 2 kids age 6 and 5) stayed at Waldorf Astoria RAK for few days 2 weeks ago. Hotel was great from every aspect; just to name a few; hotel was massive, design and finishing was to the highest standard and taking considerations on the well being and safety of the hotel guests as well kids. The environment, the vibe and ambience was amazing; very inviting, great hospitality and service from each and every staff we met every single day. We stayed at the junior suite with a king size bed and given an extra bed for the kids. The room was unbelievably huge and furnished luxuriously! From the walk in closets for his and hers, supersized bathrooms, showers and tub to a separate lounging area with separate tv, espresso maker and balcony seating overlooking the tranquil beach of Ras Al Khaimah. Kids and parents had a fun time at the pool and the beach equally. Sun loungers enough for everybody. Pinacola on a fresh pineapple is a must daily! Kids also had an amazing time at the kids club and this includes a trip to meet the chef for a pizza making session. Family and kids had a great movie time at night in one of the meeting rooms with pop corns along with friends they met at the kids club. Gym, sauna and jacuzzi facilities was amazing; equally if not better than the Waldorf Astoria Palm Jumeirah Dubai. Breakfast at the Qasr Al Bahr during weekend was up till 12 noon! Allowing late comers to energise properly. Variety of spread from international food to Arabic, Asians, to strict healthy diet consist of fresh detox drinks and fruits and countless of fresh breads, cheese spread and juices. What more can we say; we will definitely come again!
