We booked the lagoon villa with all inclusive food and drink which we later found out had so many restrictions it wasn't worth the 395 aed. You had to eat at the buffet Restraunt which was not the best of food or choice you got a 100aed voucher to eat at other al a carte Restraunt per villa. The drinks were from a set separate list with cheap alcohol and mixers. We would have liked to eat at beach bar and Restraunt when we arrived at 12pm but found out we would have to pay. If you don't take the full low grade package two small soft drinks were 53aed by the pool so beware of taking restricted inclusive packages. Villa is good but adult pool only guards allow children to avoid conflict with parents ignoring the rules so beware.
Amazing wonderful relaxing and luxury resort, warm hospitability, clean very nice sea shore, very comfortable and luxury rooms and beds, international restaurant with different varities which satisfy your desire with a tasty food, great great hospitability from all stuff there, quick and clean room service
The resort is an amazing place to relax and getaway from the city , rooms are very clean and comfortable , service is great , food is awesome at cinnamon . The pool is clean and nice. Will visit it again for sure .
We bought the all-inclusive option for 2 days and it was worth every Dirham spent. Although we stayed at the village, we were allowed to visit all the facilities which was very good. Staff were friendly and the food was great. The ambiance, the view, the beach and the swimming pools are one of the best in the UAE. The only 2 drawbacks were that I requested for a room with a balcony but couldn't get it. The pillows and the bed was a bit too hard and not very comfortable. But everything else was just great! Thank you Cove Rotana, RAK!
We stayed here for a night during a long weekend. The rooms were excellent, very big, nice and clean with a great balcony looking onto the sea. Breakfast was good and a wide variety, as was the choices in the evening. Service and buffet was really good.
what I paid for the room was very expensive as it was sooooooo small, I could get better deals else where, but when I got upgraded that was it for me, but honestly the rooms as too small comparing to the price
Great experience. Room are comfortable & cozy. Transport service was prompt & available at short notice which was good help viewing size of the resort. The resort location & beaches are great clean & present very pleasant natural view.
I have heard great reviews of The Cove but I was quite disappointed. The location is fabulous. Beautiful beach and pools. I thought it was quite a new hotel but the rooms seemed very tired and no view at all - a wall of the next room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would stay again if there was a super deal to be had.
This place exceeded my expectations! The room was huge, the staff were all so nice, helpful and very accomodating, the resort and its amenities are very well maintained. I will definitely come back here and will recommend this place.
The Cove Rotana in Ras Al Khaimah is one of the best resorts I have had the pleasure of staying in. From the second you arrive, to the second you leave, you are gifted with five star service, staff and facilities. We stayed in a one bedroom villa with our own private terrace (we wasn't lucky enough to have our own private pool but the villas with pools looked unreal and lots of fun!) There are two pools on site and they have their own private beach which is amazing and huge. There is a beach bar which has a BBQ and cocktails etc of an evening (with a DJ) and they have the Breeze Bar which is located in the main reception part of the resort which hosts live music. The massages at the spa were extremely professional and relaxing (we opted for a couples massage for 1 hour but there are lots of options available). The food and drinks we're delicious and the Cinnamon buffet even host a brunch during the afternoon. The resort itself is relatively big with all different types of room/villa. It is filled with picturesque surroundings and full of luxury. It doesn't matter if you are staying a distance away from the attractions – you can call a golf buggy or pick-up by car from the comfort of your own room and they will take you door to door. It's a thumbs up all around for the Cove Rotana from me. I will be visiting again very soon. Instagram: @katykatess
