This was our fifth visit to this hotel. In the few years it has been open it has increased in capacity quite considerably. This is something which in the normal course of events may well put us off. However the plus points far outweigh any negatives there maybe and in any event they are somewhat subjective. We have stayed in both the original villas and also the main building (Hilton Honors 6th Floor), they both provide excellent accommodation although we prefer the main building. The beach is never overly crowded and basking in the warm sea is a delight. The pool decks can be quite busy at times but we never encountered any problem in finding our preferred space. The pool bar (Boardwalk) offered excellent service from all of the team but special thanks go to Lakmal and Prince). The dining experience offered at the Brasserie.Vespa and Meze restaureants were superb. The Meze has only recently opened and is run by head chef Ufak Ozan, his attention to detail cannot be surpassed and is evident in the final product,Further, the location could not be bettered and if you are looking for a romantic dinner this the place for you. As to the Brasserie and Vespa the food and service as usual were second to none, the choices are excellent. The fish is wonderful, lobster, turbot, rock oysters, sole and much more. Special thanks to Mario and Ranjit for their professionalism and warmth. Almost without exception the staff actually want to please, even a coffee in the lobby is delivered with a smile. Finally a very special thanks to Mohamed Moneim (Front Office Manager) over the years here at Marjan Island and previously at RAK City Hotel) he has gone out of his way to make our stay special, memorable and trouble free. Guess what, we'll be back!

7 night stay on the "be-exclusive" (green band) there are 3 different types of inclusive.. Green seems to be the best way to go. Booked with Value Added Travel. Arrived about 1030 and 2 rooms were available out of 4. All in the same block. Check in went smoothly. Golf buggy ride to the rooms, cases arrived 10mins later. Lovely rooms, air con quiet and efficient, large bathroom with usual amenities. Patio door to balcony/patio if on ground floor with seats and table. Safe. complementary water every day. Great pool areas outside for both adults and children. By the main pool there are large wooden cabanas handy if you have a pushchair but you have to get up early to get one. Towel station opens about 0800 and on our 2nd day all cabanas snapped up by 0800. So If you can't beat 'em join 'em, up at 0600 and never had a problem for the rest of the holiday. Animation team keep people busy if your into that. Loads of water sports available banna boats etc, sail boards, fishing, skiing, jet ski (EAD 175 for 15mins). Boadwalk bar very efficient never had to wait long. Food is delivered to your sun bed but there are tables available. Great water park for children. Main buffet resturant we used for breakfast and lunch. No problem getting tables as the hostess sort that out for you. Food was fine, drinks quickly served. Didn't go in the evening as we could use all the other restaurants as part of the package. 9th floor bar (over 21 only) had views over pool, beach and beyond. Anchor bar has seating area outside. Had food there once inside but had drinks every night. Our party of 8 and 1 baby all had a great time. Airport transfers no problems although we had a 1100 flight out and the return trip to the airport took longer than I thought as it was the commuter busy period.

An Absolute amazing hotel, the staff were superb and the bay club rooms were modern, spacious, comfortable and very well maintained. Our rooms were on the beach front overlooking the beautiful sea. To round it off we had Be exclusive which was amazing, i could eat in all restaurants on A La Carte booked with Value Added Travel. The Friday Brunch was lovely and finished off with a great evening of entertainment. I recommend this hotel for everyone and i recommend they book Be Exclusive through Value Added Travel.

The room was cleaned daily, the food was good, a great choice. Dinners were held in a thematic spirit (German, Indian, Arabic night ...) There was plenty of fun and entertainment for the kids. Staff helpful and helpful. Great holiday for families with children. Vlado and his family.

We stayed at this amazing hotel last september for 4 days prior 2 our daughters wedding & oh boy was it the most stress free break ever! From check in to checking out. The staff go out of their way to meet your every need. We upgraded upon arrival which was fantastic as the room was available upon our 9.30am arrival. The food was delicious...the cleanliness of the entire hotel was the best ive ever seen. We were so impressed we are returning on monday 29th may 2017 for 10days with our youngest daughter for my husbands 50th birthday on the 30th may. We are so looking forward to our return to thi beaitiful hotel.....see you soon

There are LOTS of families stay at this hotel - if I had known I wouldn't have booked it. Arrived at 1am after an hours ride in a clapped out minibus from the airport in Dubai. I asked for a plate of food to be delivered to our room as we were outside of the "all inclusive" hours. This was done, but my point is that we shouldn't have to ask for the food. When you are staying in a 5 star all inclusive and arriving at 1am, you shouldn't have to ask for food to be provided. It should be offered. If we had arrived earlier in the day, we would have been entitled to dinner and drinks. Checked in quickly and upgraded the room to Bay View. Room was nice and big, huge bathroom and generally clean. Lovely view. Noise travels hugely between the rooms, especially if you have a room with adjoining doors - I could hear the neighbours' entire conversation. Also lots of slamming doors kept us awake. One night a nightclub popped up across the water and kept us awake - even with doors shut and ear plugs in. The noise continued to 4am. Also the bathroom toiletries were not replenished until day 6, and I had to phone housekeeping to get some facecloths as none had been left. The food became monotonous. Every day there was a beef stew and a chicken stew, plus something with fish and always something vegetarian (but generally Indian). Goulash was served at least 4 times during our 7 night stay, stroganoff one night and beef bourgignon the other night. We ate in the Bay View restaurant which is basically an extension of Al Marjan, but sometimes food had run out and not been replaced. Some food spent too long under the heat lamps and dried out completely. The good point though is that the desserts were good. There were some tiny pastry tartlets that were fabulous with excellent crispy pastry. Staff were sometimes slow and one evening we were on dessert but still had plates from starters and mains on the table as they hadn't been cleared. On the other hand, my mum asked for some milk to take back to the room for cups of tea and the manager brought out a brand new carton for her which was much appreciated and he also checked with her a few days later if she needed any more. We asked for milk as there was only cream available in the room. We tried to eat in one of the speciality restaurants but hadn't booked and were told we would have to wait 45 minutes for a table. There then followed a very confusing conversation with the lady who told me that we could eat in the Turkish restaurant. I had been led to believe that we couldn't get the AED 60.00 pp discount in there, but she said we could. She also suggested we go to the upstairs bar of the Anchor pub as food was served there. I asked if we would get the discount, she said no - so why did she suggest it?! Bar service was excellent - the lobby lounge and Bay View pool bar. Very friendly staff who run a tight ship. Special mention to Xavier in the pool bar. The two bars nearest the main pool were not so friendly though and staff seemed harassed. The beach is lovely and clean. The water is very shallow so perfect for children. There weren't many available sunbeds on our first day but plenty on all other days. We were there towards the end of the high season, so maybe that is why. Lots of watersports on offer. Evening entertainment was virtually non-existant. One evening there was a whirling dervish who was good, but her performance didn't last long. Other evenings there was a man with a guitar who wasn't very good. There was a kiddie disco, but nothing for adults. Whilst trying to listen to the man and guitar, he was drowned out by dance music coming from (I believe) the Turkish restaurant! We took a trip out to the Al Hamra Mall which I would recommend. AED 20.00 including tip each way. It's not a big mall, but nice for a wander and a little purchasing. Also looked at the Hilton Al Hamra - which is where we intend to spend our next vacation in RAK. Unless you pay for it, free wi-fi only in the lobby. Therefore, lots of people sitting around in the lobby!

We love this hotel Dobble tree by Hilton this is our 2nd time to stay over there,we are hoteliers , we are working in Hilton also, I would like to say thank you very much to front office team to give us let checked out , we are really appreciated for that two times we stay there And we do our let checked out, is really make us very happy to come back there again and again for sure we will come back there our every occasions and our holy days, thank you guys well done great job ,

This is a superbly managed Hotel ideal for families and couples. Since our visit in November we have noticed many improvements to the property and services to guests. The first thing we noticed was the stylish uniform worn by the staff at the front desk- most impressive along with the famous "cookie " provided at booking in creates a most favourable impression. The Hotel has always provided a wide selection of food catering for all tastes now you can add the recently opened Turkish restaurant Meze where the food is exceptional under the guidance of Sous Chef Ufuk - a must should you choose to stay at this Hotel.Similarly should you want to sample a Starbucks this is now possible at the newly built At the Islanders Cafe located near the Hotel entrance. The Boardwalk Bar serving the pools and beach now has a kitchen attached to it so that the food is fresher hotter and service is now more efficient. A small touch but most welcome is the availability of flavoured water stations near reception. For couples the Hotel has an adult only swimming pool and likewise an adults area only in the Al Marjan Restaurant. On our 8th visit what has impressed my wife and I has been the very genuine welcome we have received from ALL the staff. In our view service is excellent our Housekeeper Naqibullah ensured our bedroom was spotless nothing was too much trouble. Similarly the staff at the Boardwalk brilliantly marshalled by Laxmal provided service of the highest order. For families there is plenty on offer as well as having a safe and sandy beach there is the Pirates Water Park, the Activities room, children's swimming pool, and play area. Such is our liking for this Hotel we have booked our 9th visit in November. The General Manager Nader and Director of Operations Pieter and their Management team deserve a lot of credit for creating such a well run and welcoming Hotel and one that continously seeks to enrich/ enhance the experiences for the guests. A "gem "of a Hotel .

Having visited RAK a few times before, we came with high expectations that the doubletree would live up to the brilliant times we had in the past. We were not disappointed. The hotel has lots of rooms which in turn meant lots of guests. Unlike other places, the crowds are managed really well, especially at meal times by the extremely courteous and professional hostesses who found tables for us very quickly. With many pools, there was always a space to relax if the sunbeds around the main area was taken. Food was varied and most importantly delicious. The staff extremely helpful across the whole place. From check in to animation, the kids club too. Everyone was well trained and focused on giving us as guests the royal treatment. We travelled with 2 children aged 3 and 6 months. It was very heartening that our needs were taken care of before we could ask. The highlight was the splash park, which if you are not careful one can easily get carried away in spending too much time there. All in all, we had a great time and are already considering a visit in the future.

We had a reservation for 10 pax including kids for the Friday brunch, this place is by far the best in town everything is just perfect, fantastic food fantastic live cooking stations , great service and great value for money. Highly recommended for families ,If you are looking for a great time look no further. 10 stars
