Wonderful, relaxing time. Very friendly staff. Was initially upset with buying bottled water, but with the free kayaking, snorkeling, paddle-boarding, and breakfast; it quickly faded to a very minor item.
We booked and stayed only 3 nights in this lovely resort . I wish we could have stayed longer as it was so relaxing clean unpretentious and service was excellent. Staff were highly trained in good service unlike another so called 5 star resort we stayed in in Aitutaki. We had a small misunderstanding incident which the restaurant manager Terina resolved quickly and professionally. The room was comfortable clean and shower was amazing, the pool was large and clean and the best part is walking out on the sand to the beach and having lunch or dinner right on the water. We will definitely come back
We had a wonderful stay at MBCH - from Rowena’s wonderful smile and amazing memory ( I’m Gluten free and she always remembered to bring me bread I could eat !) to the lovely cocktails and kind staff this is a really good option for a short break. Lovely rooms and a fantastic location.
We decided to go back to Rarotonga for our 25th wedding anniversary and chose the Muri Beach Club, and extremely glad we did. From the minute we arrived we were looked after and nothing was a problem. We arrived early and because the hotel was full we left our bags and went about out to enjoy our day. When we went to get keys for our garden room we found that we had been upgraded to our surprise, so thanks you Muri beach club. Our beachfront room was magical. All the staff from reception to the bar and restaurant to the room cleaners, thank you for everything. We have travelled to many ends of the world and the staff here rate right up the top in our books. Nothing is a problem. I cut my arm and Vuli did her best to make sure i was ok and rang to get me a doctors appointment. When i returned Rowena in the restaurant asked if i was ok. The staff go beyond and this makes this hotel what it is. Breakfast is great and they boys at the bar make a wonderful coffee. Grab a kayak or paddle board and go out on the Muri Lagoon right at your doorstep. WOW Thank you to all staff for making this trip a wonderful one.
Stayed here for 12 nights in a lagoon view room. Beautiful and relaxing . Room was spacious and comfortable and very clean and air conditioned . The staff are over the top service minded and guests are treated like they are very special. The use of paddle boards, kayaks, and snorkeling gear was all free . The location to the crystal clear lagoon is excellent as it was only about 75 feet from our lounge chairs which were right in front of our room . Daily breakfast of fresh fruits, breads, cheese and salami, coffee and tea and one hot entrée each day was included in our package. The restaurant also serves lunch and dinner . We had dinner here twice and on both occasions the food was excellent and the service was wonderful . Ribeye was 35 New Zealand dollars ( about $25 USD), rack of lamb was $39 NZD. Daily bar service had a cocktail of the day for $10 NZD and other alcohol made drinks were on average $15 . A bucket of 5 beers was $40 . The staff quickly know you by name and we felt very welcome by the second day of our stay . The resort is all adults and there is no one pestering you to buy stuff on the beach or take jet ski rides . The pool is warm and there are plenty of chairs and umbrellas for use . The island has no big name hotel chains and all the restaurants are owned by locals, again no big fancy US chains cluttering the landscape here. They do not have internet in the rooms but do have a computer for use ( free) in the hotel lobby. The front desk staff is wonderful to work with, especially Vuli, who made arrangements for our tours and restaurant reservations for various places on the island . They have spa services and my wife was very satisfied with her deep tissue massage . Overall very, very relaxing place to get away from it all.
My husband and I went there for our honeymoon and the best part was that it was adults only resort. The staff were amazing, Vuli, Kelly, Vinnie, Rowena, Rangi, Tafou, Tika, were outstanding, the day spa is like no other, they have a large pool to relax in and happy hour everyday from 4pm. We sat on the beach drinking cocktails while served the best food from the restaurant. They have "island night" every Wednesday and it was the best experience, with dancers, fire twirlers and the best company and staff you could ask for. The staff were very accomodating with your every need and the facilities were outstanding, free snorkelling gear, kayaks and local advice on where to go. We will be back and we definitely recommend this place to stay.
We did not stay at the Muri Beach Hotel but we cam in for food and drinks; and they were absolutely amazing!!! The staff of the kitchen and bar were just awesome too. Ovini was one of the kindest bar tenders I’ve ever had the privilege of meeting. Thankyou for your smiles and service! Much appreciation, Jordan, Phil and Tim:)
My husband and I just had our honeymoon here at MBCH. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We got on well with the restaurant/bar staff. The pool was clean and perfect temperature. The bed was comfy.. the pillows were the only thing we would’ve changed as they weren’t the most comfiest. The rest of it was superb, we found the room spacious and clean. Aircon was great. We had the breakfast each day which you couldn’t fault except for sometimes birds coming in and pecking at the food - we would suggest have the bread covered properly or in a bread bin / cupboard. The cocktails were lovely with a $10 cocktail of the day each day! Sitting in the pool sipping on a cocktail was paradise!! Free use of snorkel gear, kayaks and paddle boards is awesome. Also the honeymoon package was great - had a free massage and breakfast in bed! Loved our stay and would definitely return and recommend to others! Thank you for a great stay :)
Stayed here for a week recently. We were very impressed. Staff were friendly and very accommodating, making out stay more pleasant. The location is good - step out the front and there is the beach, also walking distance to scooter hire, markets, plenty of restaurants, the bus stop etc. The cultural night is a must do. The facilities are nice - nice pool, good breakfast menu. They also offer a free day room the next day if you need to freshen up before heading home. Only downside would be they were a bit slow in providing beach towels and no late room service - but minor things. All in all a great stay, very happy with service and would stay again.
This hotel exceeded expectations. The location is amazing, right by a superb beach. The hotel even suppled snorkelling equipment, stand up paddle boards, canoes. and beach towels. The rooms were large, comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was excellent, lunch and dinner high quality, freshly cooked and modestly priced. But most of all, all the staff were so friendly, helpful and accommodating. A truly wonderful relaxing place!
