My wife and I stayed here for eight nights in June. We can see why Rarotonga is such a splendid restful holiday destination. The accommodation, the meals, the warm attentive service from all staff, all combined to make our stay so enjoyable.
This place puts its guests first and staff seem to really enjoy interacting with the guests. I had a beachfront room - great to roll out of bed and onto the beach. Food was great, as were the cocktails, snorkelling was fair, but take advantage of the kayaks- great way to get across to the little islands. They have really nailed it with this one and deserves all the awards it's won.
This hotel is nice and cute it's right on the beach literally. The pool is very large and it has a very nice lounge area right in the center. Stayed for two days they didn't send housekeeping ever and the toilet was broken so we heard running water all day and night. The best part about this hotel were the three bartenders at the bar they made this trip even better. Very sweet guys full of personality they kept us entertained and laughing all night! Overall I would come back and visit for sure.
I recommend this place to anyone who is looking at getting married in paradise. The staff was amazing even going as far as to carry my mother over the sand to her seat as her leg was broken and out of action. The wedding coordinator Terina will take away your stress with her bubbly smile and positive attitude. If I could do it all over again I would. The hotel is R18 but they made an exception for my children on the day. Thank you again and again
Found the garden view rooms were more roof top view rooms, although very clean and tidy, the rooms are very clinical and not the island style we like. The air conditioning unit was very noisy and kept us awake all night. Would not return.
My wife and i recently tied the knot at the Muri beach club hotel. The rooms and view were amazing and the staff were extremely friendly and professional. Everything you vould want from paradise on your doorstep as the lagoon was amazing for swimming and kayaking. It is a very small island so everything is rrlafively close but everything is either a small walk or bus ride from the hotel including night markets, bars and restaraunts. And the bus was relatively frequent even for island time. I highly recommend this hotel for a getaway vacation for anyone needing to get away fron the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Only came in for two meals. Excellent service from everyone we came across from front desk, bar and waiters. Atmosphere was lovely with some live music and also great outdoor area that gives you a fantastic view over the lagoon. Food was tasty and presented well.
We stayed here for our honeymoon. What can I say......... WOW! We enjoyed a room overlooking to pool, it was clean and tidy. Bubbles on arrival for our honeymoon - what a nice touch!!!!! We loved the helpful friendly staff, meals were delicious, availability of snorkels, paddle boards and kayaks was a bonus. We will be back and will be recommending others to stay here.
The quality control of the general appearance, cleanliness and maintenance was slack. Fittings loose, dirty and uneven. Many parts need a good steam clean and spruce. Hotel appearance a little dull and joinery tired. Staff good fun with decent service, as some consolation.
We stayed at the Muri Beach Club Hotel 28 April - 6 May 2017. On arrival we were greeted by friendly staff and escorted to our room. The staff at the hotel were awesome and made our trip extra special. Taufa and Ovini looked after us in the bar area and gave us advice on local customs and places to visit. Nothing was to hard for them and their service was without fault. The ladies cleaning our room, and staff serving the meals etc were so polite and friendly. The food at the hotel was beautifully cooked. We loved snorkling in the Muri lagoon and the friendly dogs on the beach that joined us in the sea. We never intended to go back to Rarotonga but after this experience we will definitely go back. Off the grid and totally relaxing. You can do as much or as little as you want. Cocktails and food served to you on the beach and by the pool. A chance to escape reality and be treated special by the friendly staff. Thank you Muri Beach Club Hotel and especially Taufa for the wonderful experience and friendship. Grant & Claire, Wellington NZ
