back again for our 3rd visit - wouldn't stay anywhere else - family friendly - there were eight of us including 2 children this time - spotlessly clean, extra-friendly staff, ideal location, and a relaxing atmosphere where everyone is made to feel so welcome.
Great location and accomodaton which is very family friendly. Only slight negatives were that we were unable to get a late checkout even when requested months before and the pool was pretty cold when we were there.
We booked a package including flights and accommodation and asked to be close to The Rarotongan as we were going to attend a wedding there. What an absolutely amazing place. From the outset I emailed asking a few questions and Naomi was very helpful, with all the information we needed. The transfers worked well and we were delivered directly to our room. The rooms were fantastic. The air and fans kept it cool in the evening and the windows have a mesh cover so you can leave the windows open during the day. Bed was very comfortable and all the facilities inside and out were great. Naomi and Vicki on reception were so helpful at all times; as was Debbie the owner. On the day of the wedding we discovered we had no water as the builders had hit a pipe in the construction area. Initially we were told it would be off for about 20 minutes however as time got closer to when we needed to start getting ready we still had no water. We called reception and explained and within minutes Debbie the owner was at our door and had found a solution. There was one room that had water and she was happy for us to use it. Thank you Debbie. I know you had the issue of the water going on however we really appreciated taking the time to help us out. We also had a small issue with the washing machine on the Sunday afternoon when reception was unmanned however Debbie came to the rescue again. To the team at Lagoon Breeze Villas nothing is an issue...the rooms were lovely and clean thanks to our lovely room attendant (sorry never get her name) so when we next visit Rarotonga we will definitely be booking here again. To all the team, thanks for making our visit an absolutely amazing one even though the weather wasn't that great 😀 Stephen and Mike
This was our first visit to Rarotonga, and to say we were thrilled by the villas would be an understatement. The staff really go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect. The villas are beautifully clean and are equiped with everything you need. The breakfast was a big hit with all of us, choices of fresh fruit, three types of bread for toast, cereals and coconut muffins. Kayaks and snorkeling gear to use when you need it was an added bonus. The lagoon across the road is perfect for snorkeling and if you swim a little further theres an even better lagoon. We really have found a little piece of heaven and will be back!!
The room was fantastic, we had 11 people so booked three 2 bedroom villas which had plenty of room and fans/aircon for heat. Resort had a swimming pool however this isn't heated so was quite cold, almost colder than the sea water. Kids still loved it though and I'm sure in summer this would be great! Breakfast was very basic but yummy and all you needed with amazing food around the island to eat for lunch and dinner. BBQ's were provided which we used one night; these are kept beautifully clean and usable. The staff were all friendly and helpful with any questions we had. Happy Hour at 4:30pm with a yummy selection of cocktails proved to be a winner with us.
We family of 2 adults and 3 children aged 4 to 9, stayed at the Lagoon Breeze at the end of May 2017. The resort is very accommodating for families, there were also couples staying there. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in, a 2 level villa was great for us. The location of the resort wasn't an issue across the road from the beach and about 300 metres up the road from the marine reserve, which had good snorkelling. The supplied breakfast was adequate. We were able to book tours and car hire through the resort which is helpful. We would definitely stay at Lagoon Breeze Villas again if visiting Rarotonga and would recommended staying there especially if a family.
This was a wonderful and relaxing resort. The women at the front desk were incredible, they help you with every aspect of your vacation. They will book any and all reservations. Give you suggestions and advise. The grounds are kept so beautiful. There are barbecues that you can use anytime. The pools is relaxing and quiet. This resort has snorkelling equipment that you can borrow during your stay and the snorkelling right across the street in absolutely wonderful. The local bus stops right in front of the resort and will take you all around the island. There are two buses that run clockwise and anticlockwise. Many people rented cars or motorcycles but we rented bikes and were able to go around the entire island. We stayed for three weeks but we could have easily stayed longer. This resort did have breakfast everyday which was a nice way to meet other guest but they also had a hqppy hour every afternoon which became one of our favourite times of the day. Most of the guest attended and everyone met and become friends. We all exchanged advise, stories and helpful hints. This was the best vacation for many reasons but the wonderful people ( locals and visitor alike) were a major reason. This holiday is a must do and this resort was the icing on the cake
Our first trip to Raro & we loved it. Accommodation was perfect for our 2yr old son. Kids pool, playground, balance bikes, trampoline, kayaks, snorkeling gear & even beach toys for the kids to use & the beach right across the road. Ngaio, Kimmy & Vicky thank you for making us feel so welcome. We'll definitely go back.
Exactly what it felt like. Every member of staff ensures that you have a wonderful relaxing time. Vicki and Naomi in the office have great local knowledge and are happy to discuss their personal experiences. The individual villas provide privacy and the opportunity to self-cater, (we had a garden studio Villa 9), while the communal breakfast room, happy hour, barbecue and pool create the chance to get to know fellow-guests and members of staff. We will definitely be back to visit new friends and relax in their garden.
Had a wonderful stay here with family and friends for eight days. Would highly recommend loved the spacious property and friendly staff who were more than accommodating with any needs. The staff were also very welcoming and lovely I would stay here again well done Lagoon Breeze Villas 🤗
