comfortable and spacious room, but i donnot really understand why the washing basin is set so low? the hotel arranged an airport pickup for me, with wrong gender and name spelling on the placard, but no problem since the airport is small and there was only one driver waiting for guest (i mean with a placard); pickup cost TBH200 but i donnot really understand why the driver asked me to pay to him directly instead of to the hotel desk location is good right in the center of the city with open market on friday evening, and restaurant fine on the whole a good hotel but i donnot think it's as good as expensive.....
We stayed at the Numsai Khaosuay after finishing a liveaboard dive boat experience and chose it as a nice place to unwind. It was quiet and peaceful, even though we overlooked the carpark/ reception area. However the greenery and gardens in the property made the rooms seem private and enclosed (but did increase the mosquitoes so repellent is essential!). The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The wifi was very unreliable but the other amenities were good (AC, minibar, towels and hairdryer in rooms). The buffet breakfast was a bit limited but had tasty food (both western and Thai). We had dinner at an awkward time (around 3pm) and although the restaurant seemed shut, the staff were quickly upon us and we enjoyed some tasty local dishes (the lemongrass fish in particular was yum!). We enjoyed the view of the hills and storm clouds rolling in as we ate. The lady on the front desk was always helpful (understanding English fine) and booked us a taxi to the airport upon request. There is a pool and coffee shop on site but we didn't use either.
This is the first time for me. In December the weather is good . This hotel is not far from the travel area just drive 10-20 kms. Staffes are good service can suggest you about travel area . Room is comfortable and clean .
We loved this place but we are both fairly fit, and can manage steps and stairs without much difficulty, however if YOU have any difficulty with steps and stairs this place is NOT for you ! This hotel is bang in the middle of Ranong about 500 meters from the bus station, set into the hillside overlooking the night market and the river. We booked a Superior room, but on inspection it only afforded a shower room, and my wife loves a good soak in the bath so we had to upgrade to a Deluxe room an extra 1000 bht per night, but well worth the cost, much more space on a split level with lounge area, and the bath with piped Hot Spring Water much much too hot ( should have a safety warning on the tap ) all in a beautiful setting and nice amenities, Aircon, Bath robes, slippers, Flat screen TV, Fridge / mini bar, Free wi-fi throughout the property. Well lit paths, umbrellas/ parasols, Laundry service. And a delightful on site restaurant " Leela " where you take an excellent if a little strange by western standards breakfast, served by the very attentive staff. One evening three of us enjoyed dinner here with drinks for 1520 bht and it was excellent ( See bill ) If we are in this area again we will definitely return to the Numsai Khaosuay Resort.
We had basic room that did not even have a single drawer. As it happened we were only there for 3 nights so we’re not planning to unpack. Our room could do with some refurbishment, floors and walls looked grubby.little English spoken but all staff very helpful. Breakfast basic but adequate. Need to go early if you want hot food as seems food put out once for morning service. Easy walk into to main town centre or to hot springs for sight seeing. Staff very helpful when our booked transport was very late picking us up, ringing company office and providing us with complimentary coffee
We stayed at Namsai one time, and enjoyed both our hotel room and the small restaurant. They have a nice pool that has beautiful views of the hills, and the hotel is centrally located in Ranong. I would absolutely stay there again.
We stayed here for 2 nights in December 2016 while taking a day trip to Myanmar. The hotel were very accommodating, given our trip and early departure flight meant we couldn't have breakfast either morning they packed up some sandwiches for us and let us have a breakfast at check-in. The hotel itself was very nice, with a blend of modern and traditional Thai styles and a pleasant relaxing atmosphere. Located conveniently close to town and main roads without being in the centre.
Comfortable hotel with all you need in the rooms with clean shower and comfy bed. Reception staff were extremely helpful. The pool was lovely and refreshing after an uncomfortable boat ride back from the islands. Restaurant was poor with staff having very limited English and poor understanding of requests. The food was ok but we would recommend going across to the night market for a bite to eat instead. We cannot comment on the breakfast as we took an early flight. We were given sandwiches and fruit which was ok but the sandwiches became soggy by the time we got to the airport. This was really a pleasant stay in a nice room with a HOT shower!! most welcome.
Very nice Hotel in Ranong with nice rooms and a good Restaurant as well! The staff should clean the rooms a bit less noisy!Staff is very friendly and helpfull and there is enough car parking as well!!!
Nice room but safe and tv didn't work. The most disappointing was the breakfast, we were told it would be a buffet but was just a single abf plate like you might get in any backpacker hotel. There was no fresh coffee, they didn't even have a coffee machine, only Nescafé. Also no fruit. Shame as its a nice place but a good breakfast is a big part of the stay for many.
