We stayed here one night in the new wing. The room was large clean with a lovely comfortable bed and big pillows. (A cute touch was the welcome boiled egg.) The staff were very friendly and the check in staff were efficient. The pool was lovely and clean in a nice area and open until 10pm. The Farmhouse bar restaurant is where breakfast is served. The breakfast selection did not have any western options, A large choice of beers are available and it also has an extensive menu. We ate dinner here I would say the food was average. Open all day.
The hotel itself is located in town near the night market area, which was convenient. Room was spacious with adjoining bathroom that came with a shower area. There's 2 welcome soft boiled egg fresh from the farm for you in the room. The hotel have a swimming pool and gym/recreational area which unfortunately I was not able to use due to pack schedule. The breakfast spread was mostly local Thai food, which could be a challenge if you are not the adventurous type in terms of food. Although there is your bread, butter and jam available. Overall, it was quite a good hotel in the locality and satisfied my need for bed and breakfast during the stay.
The farm house is a great hotel and if your staying on a Saturday night in Ranong with the walking street right outside it’s a must. Rooms are very clean and has a great quiet pool area. Breakfast is different but I enjoyed it lots of fresh food and a build your own approach which was fantastic. It is a little more expensive than some but at least you get what you pay for unlike some other places in the area. 5 minute walk to the palace model, 10 minute mini bus to the Hot Springs and 7 minute walk to the Market makes it well placed and lots of restaurants nearby.
Nice hotel, large, clean BASIC rooms. Fabulous breakfast. It has kind of a corporate businessman feel to it. My only complaint, other than the soulless feel, is that it is overpriced. Having traveled all over the country I find similar hotels for far less in almost any city or town.
They have taken the farmhouse theme throughout the hotel but it’s not kitch, rather it made us smile. Clean, with all the basics and very nice staff. Good location. Couldn’t get the tv to work but excellent WiFi.
The hotel is fairly central in Ranong, the room was spacious and clean, the staff had laid towels down by the sliding doors to the balcony, this was to stop rain water entering the room, bath room is a wet room with no way of stopping the water from covering the entire area, you end up having to paddle in water should you need to use the toilet after a shower, the basin was missing a plug (apparently no one wet shaves in this hotel), it's a small point but very important if you wet shave, I had to go to the local bathroom store to obtain a plug for the basin, a good size balcony is attached to the room, unfortunately strewn with rusty nails, to get to the breakfast room a walk outside is required to the hotels restaurant, breakfast was an impressive layout of which 90% was cold which is fine if you like food that should be hot food, served cold, it's not all bad as the hotel owner is in the restaurant at breakfast time on most days, she makes it a point to talk to as many guest as possible, after finding out I like my Currys hot, she informed the kitchen staff to microwave my plate of food, this they did every day, would I recommend this hotel? Yes I think I would just remember to take a basin plug with you.
This hotel is down a short alleyway near the main restaurant and entertainment area. Rooms are large and roomy and also very clean with good free WIFI. The big let down was the breakfast which is mainly Asian. Despite my obvious confusion, all six staff simply chatted among themselves The hotel is good for the price
An OK place 200b ride to the airport and similar to the pier. Rooms are large with tea and coffee facilities. Excellent for a one night stay over en-route to Ko Phayam. Will stay again it serves its purpose. Breakfast is excellent, a good start for the day.
Although the room is not luxurious it is very clean and has everything you might need, from complimentary coffee to hair dryer. The bed is huge and confortable. Quiet emplacement but nightlife spots nearby. The best comes in the morning when you have breakfast at the Farmhouse restaurant. Impressive variety of local and thai food. Ranging from traditional kao tom to thai desert and fruits. Of course you can have dinner there but I didn't have the opportunity to try.
Great location for a town stay, just next to the Saturday Walking Street. The rooms are basic and comfortable. Restaurant has good atmosphere with a variety of dishes. Breakfast is quite impressive. Best is their customer services and a team of friendly staff.
