The country house is located in the village of Rangersdorf, not far from the Italian border in the popular Mölltal holiday region in Carinthia's Hohe Tauern National Park.

The 4 ski areas in the region (Grossglockner/Heiligenblutt, Mölltal Glacier, Ankogel/Mallnitz and the family ski area Emberger Alm) guarantee absolute snow safety with more than 150 kilometers of pistes! The south-facing Zettersfeld ski area near Lienz in East Tyrol, at an altitude of 2,278 meters and with fantastic views of the Dolomites, offers over 20 kilometers of slopes. All these ski resorts can be reached in 20-30 minutes by car. There is also a wide range of winter activities outside the ski slopes, with ski trails, several toboggan runs and hiking and snowshoeing routes.

The region around the Hohe Tauern National Park in Carinthia is a dream location for lovers of an active summer holiday. Think impressive glacial plains, steep mountain walls, clear blue mountain lakes and imposing waterfalls - all connected by an extensive network of hiking and mountain trails that invite adventure and discovery.

Whether you choose a relaxing bike ride or a challenging mountain bike ride, the many routes offer spectacular views and take you deep into the heart of this beautiful natural area. For refreshment on hot days, the open-air swimming pools in Flattach, Winklern and Stall provide refreshment, or take a dip in the crystal-clear waters of Lake Tristacher - a true jewel of nature.
