Staff very friendly and accommodating. We weren’t sure if the roads would open up due to bad weather and the staff were so helpful, checking the weather and road closures and allowing us to stay late in our room. Cannot say enough good things about them . The hot tub set up was fabulous too. The room was very clean and typically European size. TV and wifi worked well.

Was there only for a night on my road trip around the country. Right near the road, walking distance to the groceries. Breakfast was good. There's also a hot tub facilities in the property. There's a horse farm right next to the hotel. I wish I had taken a ride early morning next day. But I'm sure there will be other opportunities in this road trip for just that 😊. I would definitely recommend this hotel property.

This is a very nice place kind out in the middle of no where, but we found it a convenient place to book and stay. Highly recommend it!

There are two types of rooms. One with private bathroom and the others with shared bathrooms. We had the one with shared bathrooms. The room was extremely small with twin beds. Some of the bathrooms were Ok. But other bathrooms had problems ranging from bad shower curtains, bad shower heads or missing soap/shampoo. From the looks of it, the rooms with private bathrooms were larger. We might have had a pleasant experience if we were able to get one of those rooms. The TV in the shared common room did not work. When reported, the front desk hostess tried to fix it but to no avail. It did not work the three days we were there. The evening buffet at the restaurant was very expensive ($50 per)so we opted to eat in the cafe. High but manageable. The only redeeming value was the breakfast.
Great place to spend the night in south Iceland. Clean and inviting rooms, although very basic. Most rooms have no view.
