It was very clean and adequate for a few nights. The breakfast was simple and small but fine for the price. The bus stop from the capital station Mjodd was so close. If you're not looking for bells and whistles this place fits the bill. I would stay here again.

The hotel is conveniently located on route 1, not much around it, we stayed there our last night in Iceland finishing our ring road. We have to say it is just a limited hotel with little amenities, but we had our best lamb steak dinner there during our Iceland trip.

This was a perfect location on our drive exploring the southern area. Our room was cozy, clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and exactly what we needed.

Comfortable and clean room. Dinner at the restaurant was OK, breakfast was good. The room was chilly at first but the gentleman at the desk brought us a heater that heated the room up nicely.

The hotel appears relatively recently refurbished inside. Bathrooms and bedroom was clean. Surprisingly, the only real issue we had was that the room was too hot. There was a way to get the floor heat down enough to avoid making the room too warm and you can only open the windows a little bit. The staff to their credit was responsive and provided a fan, greatly appreciated The connected restaurant had good and reasonably priced food.

I loved the old fashioned style hotel. So cosy and warm. Only the bathroom was modern style, looks remodeled. So clean and neat. My best part was breakfast. Not fancy, nothing special but foods look like homemade. Taste was good. If I visit Iceland again, I definitely want to stay this hotel.

Great little hotel room with my breakfast buffet.

This was a great place to stay while we were chasing waterfalls and going to the Lava Center. Nothing fancy but quiet, clean, and comfortable, with an attached restaurant that was very convenient.
