This place was amazing. I can’t think of a single complaint. Everything was so fresh and clean I would have thought we were the first ones to stay here. The family was very friendly and the property, with the waterfall, was stunning. I would highly recommend this place.

Absolutely amazing views. Good space for three adult men (myself, brother and father) to stretch out and relax. Very helpful staff. Unique, clean and comfortable rooms.

The host, Anna, welcomed us with cake. Excellent hospitality service and detail oriented. We highly recommends this place! It’s beautiful

It was a wonderful place to stay to experience the real iceland! Both Anna & siggi were we’re nice and welcoming

Amazing setting and location! Anna was great to work with and the facilities could t be better. Also loved meeting the sheep on the property. Altogether, we hope to visit again!

The property was warm, comfortable, and had beautiful views right off the deck.

Beautiful and stylish studio apartment with a student ning view. Little touches and owner tips make stay feel personalized. Highly recommend.

Stayed here two nights. Great base camp to do the Waterfall hike above Skogar. Had chocolate cake waiting every night. Great kitchen in room. Highly recommend.

Loved the self-catering experience at this sweet guesthouse, in a beautiful setting with a lovely waterfall out back. It is well siutationed between Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss, a 25 minute drive to Dyrhólaey (a must-see) , another 23 to Reynisfjara, and about 40mins to Vik. The room we were in was perfect for our family of three, with a functional kitchenette, (2 burners, microwave, coffee maker, adequate pots/pans). The bathroom was exceptional -great shower, heated floors. We appreciated the salt and the olive oil! And the cocoa was a great touch, especially for our son. (Note that there is no oven). Restaurant dining is exhorbitantly expensive in Iceland, so having this self-catering option was a godsend. As to cooking staples, we would have liked more salt (it was just a small shaker), some pepper, and butter.

We were pleasantly surprised with location and accommodations. The owner and his wife were very friendly. We stayed in the "Middle" room, and it was clean and comfortable.

The host Siggi is very welcoming and friendly. The cottage is clean and nicely designed. Full kitchen with fridge, and espresso machine! Amazing ocean view from the cottage, and a waterfall right behind it. This cottage is my favorite stay during my 6 day trip.
