The park-like setting Includes an outdoor dining corral, outdoor games, BBQ pit, oasis pool, hot tub, greenhouse and bird garden. Out the front and back gates are trails for hiking & mountain biking or perhaps stroll to a winery in the neighborhood. Nearby are beaches, golf courses and world-famous Amusement Parks.

Local attractions include Mt. Woodson Golf Club or San Vicente Resort and Golf Club. Looking for wine? Many unique and wonderful wineries dot the neighborhood and offer many local estate wines that are like no other. From the house it is possible to stroll to Principe Winery, Mermaid Vineyards, Cactus Star Vineyard and Woof'n Rose. There are more than 20 wineries located within a 10 mile radius, making wine tours and tastings adventures easily accessible. While Ramona feels like you are a world away from civilization, you are only a few miles from town and within a 40 minute drive of any and all of the attractions within the greater San Diego area. This is a lovely jumping off point to visit the San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Lego Land, The Safari Park, Balboa Park, Gaslamp, Del Mar and La Jolla Beaches, Coronado or apple picking in Julian.

Other things to note-
This is a farm stay experience, and we live on the property in a separate unit and within our own gated area. We are always available if something is needed.

During our slower times or mid-week, we open up our "smaller house" listing, to allow smaller groups the opportunity to enjoy the ranch at a reduced rate. If more space is needed, please inquire about adding rooms. There are multiple units on site so when booking this listing, outside spaces are shared.

This is a working Farm/Ranch, and we are often tending to the animals, planting crops or running the market. Guests are always welcome to come and learn or be engaged in farm activities.
