Radin - Sava Hotels & Resorts4.0 out of 5.0

It seems that the whole thing is stuck in 80' - people, rooms, lobby, the bar. I'm not sure, how this hotel deserves a 4 star rating, as it would need some improvement to get to 3*. Maybe it's because of the pool...which increases the temperature in the whole ground floor to the level that you wanna skip your breakfast. You are not skipping much anyhow.
I am a regular visitor of Hotel Radin. Even though the room facilities are basic the experience you get is amazing. The staff is friendly and at your disposal every moment. The SPA is really one of the best. The various pools , safety and entertainment in the SPA is on the highest levels. The food is very good and there are a lot of choices. The clossenes of Maribor is greta so you can hop off and enjoy the beuties of this lovely city. You must visit the surroundings as there are a lot of beutifull places to visit around Radenci. I highly reccomend Hotel Radin as a destination for relaxation and enjoyment
We were there on the winter and we have a great time. Rooms are clean but not big, SPA & pools are great, especially external pool. Specially experience is to take a special bath in carbonated bath. There is no wifi in the rooms and in the restaurant just in the hotels lobby. Food is absolutely great. This hotel is for people which dose not ask for some other activities because beside hotel there is nothing special to saw in the city. But it is about an our to Graz in Austria so you can go there for the one day visit. We will back there surely.
We came here for a weekend to just relax and enjoy ourselves. This is a great place to swim in the nice pools and excelent daunas. They have been renovated recently and are very pleasant. The hotel rooms are ok but could definitely be renovated. I really didn't like the fact that you could ony visit the sauna between 12.00 and 15.30. And you only get to go in once. So you are forced to not only go during their selected time, but you cannot go in and out as you please. Hotel guests should not have to pay extra to go and visit the sauna after 16.00. For the very low price though, it is kind of expected. Surprisingly, there is free wifi in the rooms and in most of the hotel. The staff is very nice and always willing to help you out.
It's nice hotel, with friendly stuff, but it needs renovation. The surrounding area is neglected. The food is very good (local food) and the pool is a little to small, but you can relax in the bubbles.
Beside SPA nothing much has really changed in this hotel. The food has improved to be honest (spent there a week in August last six years). This year novelty are suggested menus for different protective diets (if one need one). Nevertheless the beef broth/soup was - is every evening absolutelly to salty. Wine list at the restaurant and bar still has the same mistakes for last 7 years. ... No wifi in the room - bring cable :( ! Room maid tends to forget to replace shower gel.
We went to Radenci Spa and Hotel Radin to spend a long weekend there. The receptionists are very nice, trying to help you as much as they can. The room we had was an economy double room, it didn't have the balcony, but that is reasonable, taking the economy class. We had the AC, which was perfectly OK. The room was clean, bathroom is also big enough. The food was very good and tasty, there is a big selection of everything. The menus are built by the nutritionists. The spa area is big and clean, It offers a 25 meters swimming pool and an area where you can soak in. Saunas are also a part of the spa area. You get free access to all the areas with the hotel card (but saunas are free only until 16:00). There is also a nice big park just by the hotel, where you can go for a walk. The WiFi signal is in the hotel lobby only. One of the things to try is to drink the mineral water in the hotel saloon, which comes directly from the underground thermal spring. The whole resort is located in a beautiful piece of Slovenia - where we will surely return!
Spent a long weekend there and was not disappointed. The rooms are ok, a bit on the small side. Radin B (older section, I guess) has really poor wi-fi strength in the rooms. The rooms with the AC lack a full-sized balcony, and those with a balcony supposedly don't have AC. The bathrooms are well cleaned and spacious enough. The beds are way too soft, and even I had trouble falling asleep sometimes. Otherwise the rooms were fine. Full marks to the staff, who are extremely helpful and kind, they really do bend over backwards for you. Most of them are multilingual, I've seen them converse fluently at least in English, German and Russian. The pools are decent, but the artificial current can be quite strong at times. Pool areas are kept clean and there is an abundance of recliners. We didn't use the sauna, but we heard there are some at the spa :) not our thing, though. There is a restaurant by the pool which has quite a selection of pizzas, burgers, proper lunches... It is a bit on the pricey side, but they usually are when they are poolside. The food was above average, the dinner menus are pleasantly varied and there is always a nutritionist's recommendation for a healthy/cardioprotective/fitness combo of what's available. There is a bar in the lobby where the wi-fi is strong (the neighboring hotel has some strong routers, no dobut :)), the TV usually has a football match on and they serve a mean gibanica or strudel. Make sure you try the house ginger iced tea. The park is a bit run-down, but should make for a nice stroll in the evening. They are working on it, but do try to keep in mind it is kept as authentic as possible and that it's been kept like that since the 1880s. There is an old church there and a couple of villas (one with a museum) and an old mineral water fountain. Makes for some lovely sunset photos, If the fancy strikes you. Or rent a bike; the surrounding area is lovely and since it is wine country, you should get some nice local wines. I strongly recommend this hotel if you are into spa tourism. Soak in the pool all day, hike or bike in the evening and finish of with a ginger iced tea before bed.
Spent a weekend here, got a good deal and were impressed with the spa and pools etc. Book early if you want a massage - they were booked out when I tried. Food was ok but not amazing, but fine for the price I guess. Room was clean and pleasant if slightly dated. Wifi signal was weak in the room. Would stay again.
Small rooms, nice wellness (to hot turkish sauna), great swimming pools. Food and friendly stuff are the best part of a hotel. Mineral water drinking hours are not friendly to guests. Nearby park and villas are old and need renovation...
