Great place for overnight before catching the Ferry Phu Quoc Express - Just across the street. Free taxi service - took us to dinner and back. Free bike rental, great for riding around the city park along the water front....

Good for a short stay. Cheap and convenient

Good and reasonably priced hotel that is just across the road from the port to get a boat to the islands. Love the taxi service and the free bicycles/scooters (small surcharge). May be a bit noisy early in the morning as it is located in the middle of a local market. The hotel could do better with the bedsheets as they’re way too thin. Will stay again.

Amazing stay and hospitality first time it went this week in Vietnam for me! Only complaint is there’s ole birds that are a bit loud during the night but you can’t do anything about that!

No frills, cute services

A no frills hotel with lots of charm. Room is basic but the air conditioning works well. Upon check-in they give you an old school Nokia which you can use to call their free taxi service to scoot around town. We didn’t use it but it was a great touch! They provide games in the room and complementary water (which we didn’t use because plastic bottles are the devil, y’all - stick to reusable!). We stayed here because it’s directly opposite the ferry terminal.

Close to market boat dock to Phu Quoc. Clean, good service and best of all is the free taxi. We had no problem reserving the taxi. The driver was very accommodating

Hotel good for short stay. Shower drainage was poor and caused bathroom to be flooded. Bed against wall was awkward to access. Local area good for food and coffee.

I've been to Rach Gia many times and honestly for the price you won't find better than this. The rooms are super clean, there's hot water (most of the time), A/C and comfortable beds. The free taxi is a nice to have but I ended up taking my own transportation (xe om) a lot because you need to wait for a very long time to get this free taxi sometimes. As others have mentionned, there's water on the floor in the bathroom from the A/C but it's really no big deal.

Very good value for money. Large and clean room that is just a minute walk from the ferry port. The hotel offers a free taxi service at night that was brilliant and even give you a local mobile to call them!

Hotel with free taxi service.

Great hotel, only stayed for one night. They offer a free taxi service. Only complaint was something in our bathroom was leaking which meant the floor was wet.

Great location for ferry, excellent service

Like a lot of guests we were only in Rach Gia for one night on the way to Phu Quoc and chose this hotel due to its proximity to the ferry terminal. After reading mixed reviews we were preparing ourselves for this hotel to be a bit rough but we were pleasantly surprised - the room was spacious, bright and clean and the staff were great and very helpful. The free taxi service into town is fantastic and they give you a mobile phone to call them when you're ready to be picked up which is great as we didn't have a Vietnamese SIM card. My only complaint is that the bed was very hard which I found quite uncomfortable, but for the price and proximity to ferry terminal I'd definitely recommend Kiet Hong.
