Historical lodge right in the middle of activities.

Where do I begin. Other than the beds being very comfortable, the whole experience was a huge let down. The young man checking us in acted as if we were inconveniencing him, then when we got to our room, we had a lovely view of dirt and an air conditioner. There was no TV in the room. No phone. The lamp next to the bed did not work, but my son figured out the problem (it was the plug in) and fixed it. There was no shower, but only a shower attachment in a claw foot tub. No shower curtain. No non-slip protection, no place to put your soap or shampoo, but on the toilet seat. No air conditioning, but the open window and ceiling fan did keep the room cool enough. The biggest transgression was the wi-fi. You are allowed 1/2 hour a day. After that, you have to pay for it. As much as they charge for these rooms, even the less than stellar one I got, that should not be the case. Some of this was my fault for possibly not reading the description as closely as I should, but the description on Orbitz did not fully disclose these failings. Their website does disclose the wi-fi issue, but I did not go to their website. In any event, I am soured on this location and will not likely return. The non-disclosure aside, the staff was not friendly and there are other very nice accommodations on Lake Quinault.

If you like an old National Park lodge you've come to the right place. We stayed in the old lodge and it's a little creaky. Due to Covid the service was not as complete as it should have been. The indoor pool was open and food was available.

Unique and peaceful setting. Wonderful lake for kayaking. If you're looking for a way to disconnect, this is a great place. If you expect anything in the way of cell phone, wireless internet or decent TV service, don't visit. Amenities are non existent, so you should bring your own beverages and snacks, too. Food service is limited and very pricey but the Salmon House restaurant down the street has amazing fried mushrooms ( my mouth is watering thinking about them) hearty chowder and the best dill Salmon we've enjoyed in a long time. Hiking nearby features spectacular rain forest specimens.

We loved this place! Came across it last year as a spot for dinner and wanted to come back and actually stay here. Because of COVID (completely understandable) we couldn’t enjoy some of the things we were looking forward to, like renting kayaks and enjoying their full menu. The take out dinner options were minimal and the line to order was long. Pool and game room were closed. Again, to be expected. We were just happy to get away and feel comfortable that social distancing procedures were in place.

The location on the lake is beautiful. The management of the hotel is not so great. Nice people but not very professional. Seem understaffed. Aramark needs to put some money into the hotel. They have owned it for 15 years and should have already updated the rooms and lobby.

The price was high for the room and services provided. When I advised the front desk staff that I found a dirty sheet behind a couch in my room right after check-in, I was provided a plastic bag and gloves to bag it up and leave it outside the door (Staff is not supposed to enter guests room with COVID-19 precautions). Later I found a rotting strawberry under the same couch. While these are unprecented times and travel during a pandemic is different circumstances, I would have assumed that an offer to change rooms so they could thoroughly clean the room would be offered, I was only given the assurance that they were short-staffed and that they were in a hurry and missed the sheet. This did not provide me with reassurance but I was too dumb-struck around the handling of this issue that I didn't know what to do. Luckily I did bring my own Clorox wipes and hand wiped down high touch surfaces upon entry to the room. Also, it wasn't entirely clear that the lakeside rooms did not have a mini-fridge in the room and I had to toss a lot of perishables at the end of my stay.

Classic, warm lodge with a nice view of Quinault lake.

beautiful location. wonderful staff, helpful and courteous. food was wonderful.

Very rustic. Love all the games in the lobby and game room

All positive except check in when orbitz reservation could not be found at desk. Not sure what happened on this but staff was helpful in getting same room type at same room rate. This is a beautiful location with great views of the Lake Quinault and would stay there again,

Thank you for taking the time to let us know how your stay went. We are so sorry that your stay was not what we had hoped it would be for you. I am also sorry that Orbitz did not give you up to date current information. Just so you are aware, we do not have phones in any of the rooms, we do have rooms with TV, they would be the Lakeside or Fireplace buildings. Again I am sorry your stay is not what we hoped it would be for you.
