We had a lovely stay and truly appreciated the kindness and care that went into this home. It has a rustic charm that made our visit feel cozy and relaxed, and the pool was an absolute highlight — peaceful, clean, and perfect for unwinding. We enjoyed ourselves completely and wanted for nothing. It was a sweet, memorable getaway.

The cottage was perfect for our family’s needs. It has a very nostalgic /vintage feel to it which we all found comforting. It’s about 30 minutes from UVA. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. We’d stay there again if we ever needed a place out that way.

Good place to visit and get away from the city for the fourth. Pro(s)- The pool is lovely! There are very large umbrellas for shade on both sides of the pool. The owner also services the pool daily so it's for sure kept clean. - Very close to wineries, which are great to visit during the day, followed by a relaxing swim in the pool afterwards. Con(s)- The house could use a good deep clean by a cleaning service. Top level things were very clean but could definitely use a deep clean once the summer season starts. Our family though has a rule to always leave a place cleaner than when you found it!
