Hand fed the monkeys and watched my children's faces light up as the monkeys grabbed bananas right out of their hands! Very good food, friendly and helpful staff. Clean premises, walk to the beach. My kid's and I spent our finding treasures and digging up live sand dollars. Memories were made that will never be forgotten!

Espectacular mi estancia en el hotel me encanto el trato de los empleados la comida las habitaciones muy lindo y tranquilo lugar se los recomiendo.

it was beautifull experience and the staff is so nice, just the bed was kind of unconfortable a bit

My girlfriend and I had a pretty good time. I wanted somewhere secluded but this was too far out. The staff was very friendly and the resort was nice. The room was updated, the shower was unique and had hot water. Breakfast in the morning was great and the resort is a short walk away from the beach.....just across the road. Security and house keeping were awesome....We showed up and was greeted with a frozen drink which was very good! Very relaxing atmosphere. The pool is awesome.....loved it. My dislikes were.....The drinks are over ten dollars a drink and I think that's ridiculous. We were told at check-in since this resort is eco-friendly we can not flush toilet paper down the toilet. I was shocked. Instead we were told we had to use the waste basket.....not good at all. The television didn't work and after asking to have it fixed....nobody ever showed up. It was okay though because we just found "other things" to do to occupy our time. The beds aren't the most comfortable....very lumpy but not the worst I've ever slept on. The absolute worst thing about this resort is the road to get there.....It is about a 20 minute ride....past the poor district......and the road is pot-hole after pot-hole.....muddy.....I would definitely recommend getting a truck or renting one. There are no stores close to here at all.....One bar is down the street which is and drinks are reasonable....There are no activities at all offered there...

The staff and the owner were more than accommodating for my Family. My 11 year old and 15 year old daughters loved it. We ended up staying an extra night too ! Rooms were just incredible. A must stay if you like being out of the tourist traps

Good experience. Diane, the owner gave us good advices for the visits we planned. The resort is beautiful and close to the beach, rooms are wonderful and spacious. Don't miss the jetski tour ;-)

Beautiful location with great rooms and common areas. Lots of honeymoon-ers. Nice menu with plenty of options. Beach is fantastic although they do warn heavily about rip tides in this area.

This is located on a secluded beach, and great place to spend a day or two lounging on the beach. The waves are rough, and going into the pacific ocean was not recommended. But endless beach to walk on and plenty of hammocks. Restaurant food was decent, and priced comparable to most places in Costa Rica that cater to international tourists. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were artistically decorated. Only drawback was the roughly 7 km from the main road where you have to travel on an unpaved bumpy road.

We arrived at the hotel and found both of the all white beds covered in bed bugs. When asking for a new room they offered to change the bedding. Refusing to stay in the room they made us wait 20 min to get a new room. Just to find the beds in the second room covered in bed bugs also. So on to the third room luckily no bugs but the room was covered in dirt from the thatched roof. After a long day of traveling (at least a 30 min drive to any thing)to get there we settled for dirt over bugs. The water was cold so don't expect a hot shower. The staff speaks very little English if any and the owner who speaks English and lives with in 100 yds offered no help with any of the problems. There is no swimming in the ocean next to the hotel because of the extremely dangerous riptides along the beach. If not renting a car be prepared to pay for travel to get to any attractions as this hotel is not close to anything and the staff will only call a taxi for you. The experience of the first night was so bad we left for a new hotel and still had to pay for the second night. I would not recommend this hotel unless you just want to sit by a pretty pool and sleep in a dirty room with bugs.

Cannot be closer to the beach than this-beautiful view of the ocean, and eat, swim, relaxed or eat literally by the beach but a little quite. My family just spent two nights there and that was right amount time.

Excellent if you dont want to be around a lot of people, almost private and beatiful beach, the hotel is nice, excellent service, not too much amenities and the menu at the restaurant can be short for a couple of days there and you may hear the TV from the next room. There is not too much near so it is a excellent place to disconect you from the world. The national park is just 40 minutes from there

Really enjoyed this place. The rooms are beautiful and you really feel like you are staying in the middle of the jungle. The hotel is hard to get to. Definitely need a car.

You have to travel down a gravel road for a good 10 miles to reach the resort. The rooms smell very musty but they are really nice. The owner offered us a jet ski tour and then cancelled last minute because she forgot she had an appointment in San Jose. She left with the jetskis!

This is a new resort created by a lady with great taste and a love of nature. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The food was very good and the prices were about the same as a medium US resturant. It is very peaceful and like a South Seas Island setting. Dog lovers will enjoy the friendly "guard" dogs that love to play. Just be prepared to drive down the gravel beach road for about five miles. Take everything you need, so you don't have to travel the road much. We loved it !
