We loved this hotel Staff very friendly and very helpful. We loved that they supply a courtesy shuttle. The Bowling Ally was a definate bonus. We loved it. Would stay again when opportunity arises. Loved it

It is hard to come up with something positive to say about this hotel. The building itself is tired and old and would certainly benefit from a total renovation. The help was at best NOT helpful, everyone working on the property gave the impression that they themselves were not very happy – sort of matched the building! The food was not good. And finally town is to far away to walk so you must take a shuttle. The shuttle experience itself was as bad as the hotel. The shuttles only run once an hour and you must make a reservation to secure a seat. One evening returning to the hotel most of the guest did not have a reservation (it is difficult after a day of sightseeing to know exactly when you might want to return to your room) the shuttle was full and four people were left in town. Their options were either to wait an hour for the next shuttle or take a taxi…the driver of the shuttle would not come back and get them after making the first delivery of guest, and told them to take a taxi. This is not what I call kind or professional!

We had a very pleasant stay. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean and the service is good. The best part is that there is a shuttle service to go to the city and come back. It is good value for money and definitely worth staying at.

I paid a lot more for what I eventually got. The rooms and the hotel is pretty old yet they charge high tariffs. I would never stay at this hotel, I normally don't pay so much for the quality that I got, but since I traveled during Chinese New Year, this was the only option available.

For those wanting to avoid the high prices of accommodation in Queenstown during peak season, this hotel is a good option. Large room and clean, friendly staff and a shuttle bus to Queenstown if you don’t have a car or don’t want to drive the 10-minute windy road to Queenstown. I should also add that parking in Queenstown is insanely expensive so take the shuttle bus! Situated near some restaurants so it is not totally isolated.

The hotel is a bit outside of Queenstown, we had rental car so it was no problem. There are no real shops around the area so if you need something buy it on the way there. The rooms were large, clean and had air condition. The hotel itself is a bit old and worn down. We had dinner at the restaurant, it was okay. There’s a bowling hall in the hotel that we did not use. Good hotel but we felt it was a bit pricey as it’s a bit off from Queenstown. We visited in summer.

The staff are very accomodating and friendly..especially the 2 male in the reception😊 the room is clean..i like the old style of the tv and some things in the room,if i will go to Queenstown again i will book here again.

Over priced. Stained carpets. Not great for children. Uncomfortable beds. Bad service. I do not think we will be back to stay sorry. T.V was incredibly old and terrible sound quality. Half the plug sockets in the room were broken.

Big room . King size bed confortable. Huge TV screen. Linen not very clean. A little bit of noise because of work in the hotel to renew other rooms. Bowling with special price for hotel patrons. Pizza and ice cream good !!

The place is very quiet, spacious rooms there are some indoor activities to do on a rainy day l, the food was very delicious, loved the pumpkin soup, the cars parked on the parking area was blocking my view. Overall a pleasant place to stay
