Fantastic space for the two of us, very private, with a small fenced yard for our pup. Perfect for what we needed and the host was so nice and accommodating.

Leah had the place well stocked with everything from teas and coffees to lots of towels and other amenities. Very cleans and beyond pet friendly! Everything I needed was there and if not, Leah got it for me ASAP. Leah went above and beyond to make me and my dog, Indigo feel welcome. She even cared for Indigo one day when I was busy and didn’t want to leave him alone. Leah is very kind, caring and wanting to make sure you have everything you need. There are quite a few beautiful walking paths close by and the walk to beach is close too! Indigo and I went on a lot of walks, exploring the neighborhood. Everyone we met was so friendly and kind!

Kitchenette means no stove. King size bed is 2 twins pushed together in low ceiling loft - a challenge to get in and out of for seniors. Host is very friendly

Amazing little gem in Qualicum. Extremely clean. Great host that thought of everything, even down to dog toys! Super dog friendly. Loved this place and the host. Would definitely return. Close to walking trail. Close to stairs down to beach area. 22 minute walk to village shops. The fenced yard is a bonus. Cute little BNB. Nicely done. Overall great place.

Property is as described: good location, very clean and has all that you need as far as kitchen supplies. As per bylaws in Qualicum Beach, no stoves are allowed so that limits some food cooking choices but there is an electric fry pan and an electric BBQ that was very clean and worked very well. What hasn't been mentioned in other reviews is that the property is at an intersection of two main roads. The traffic noise was not pleasant throughout most of the day but not an issue at all at night or early morning. We spent considerable time at the property because of our dog and noticed this. If you are going to be out and about all day, it likely won't be an issue for you. The bedroom is upstairs and is in the eaves. We brought an extra fan just in case it was going to be too hot and we used it. There are 2 small fans for use and there is a kitchen window air conditioner but the main floor did not get hot at all and we didn't use that. The fenced in area for the dog was good, but small. We booked for 2 weeks but left a couple of days early as we have a 10 month old mini-Aussi and the opportunities for off leash time in Qualicum Beach are limited and he needs a lot of exercise.

We spent four nights at Leah's property and really enjoyed our stay. The unit was very clean and well stocked. We especially appreciated the small fenced yard, as we were traveling with our two small dogs. It’s a perfect choice for a couple looking to explore the area.

Perfect little cottage

Lovely rooms. Super clean. Very comfortable. Leah makes sure you have everything you need like shampoos shower gels cotton wool. Kitchen well equipped too. Large fridge. Little electric BBQ outside. Very comfy bed. 25 mins walk into the village. Smart area. Very safe. Liked sitting out in the private garden.

A little too small for 2

host was great with communications. Place was immaculate and cute, but very small to maneuver in. Ceiling in bedroom was so low we hit our heads to get out of bed. Not very convenient to have a bedroom upstairs and bathroom downstairs when you need to get up to go in the middle of the night a few times. Location was good but on a fairly busy traffic corner.. price was a little high for such a small place and during off peak season

The suite was nice and clean. Although lacking a stovetop, the kitchen is well equipped with full sized fridge, microwave and toaster oven. It is small but it was just the two of us and our little dog. The yard is private and fully fenced, a real plus! Location is great. Minutes from the beach and great walking trails to the town centre.

Enjoyable & well equipped little Cottage getaway

When we plan on staying in Qualicum again we would certainly book this place again. The place was spotless!! and a nice private patio outside with a running fountain and patio lights was wonderful. The hosts are a delight.

Lovely little hideaway that’s perfect for a little dog.

We enjoyed staying at Crescent Cottage. Even when the weather turned sour, the place was a cozy haven to curl up in and ride out the storm with a good book. The little yard was perfect for our dog and left us worry-free when eating dinner outside. If you can make it down the nearby Rotman Trail stairs, it’s a beautiful little wooded walk to the beach as well. Great location in a quiet neighbourhood!

Clean environment. Friendly owner . Considerate owner with detailed supply of pet daily use items (pet’s litter bags, pet’s dish ) . Ample supply of towels for guests . Quiet environment. It’s an ideal cottage for two to three people, for a family of four will be a bit less spacious.

Qualicum Beach

First impression was very good. The property was very clean and well aired. It felt very fresh walking into it. Our dog enjoyed the fenced backyard and the good weather allowed us to enjoy our meals outside. Enjoyed local walks and close location to beach. Good place to use for excursions to Little Qualicum and Englishman River Falls.

Great Stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful little cottage. Centrally located, close to the beach and town but far enough away to be quiet. Very well appointed. The fenced outdoor space was perfect for our dog and there were lots of places to take him for a walk. Leah was easy to communicate with. We would enjoy staying here again in the future.

Great spot!

Second stay here - we really enjoy staying in Leah's cottage. Great location, spotlessly clean, and quick trail to the beach and local pub. Leah is a wonderful host and makes sure you have everything you need. Love that we can bring our little Emma who really enjoys the yard!
