Hotel is undergoing major renovations so there are boxes throughout the first floor lobby. third floor is completely closed. Elevators were not working so all weekend. Pool was closed until summer. Only 1 worker on staff at any time of day so if they were off doing something else there was no one else at the front desk or answering phones. Hotel is definitely outdated so I see the need for renovations but they should put that on the website. Workers were working on Saturday all day and sounded like they were coming through the ceiling. also, not sure if this was Orbitz's problem or the hotel renovations, but the room type I booked and paid extra for I did not get. Was supposed to have a king wiht pull out couch in the room and got put in a king bed with no sofa. Front desk lady said they only had 1 of those rooms available and it was already rented out so there was nothing she could do. She never offered a credit or anything and said if she switched me to a double bed room she would actually charge me more. Completely unacceptable. entire first floor smelled like puck when we arrived.
The only good thing was it did have 2 waffle makers and a decent variety for breakfast. TVs in room and lobby did not get the playoff football games even though they were on the major stations and you couldn't get access through your personal accounts either due to their wifi location (blocked).
Until renovations are fully completed I would recommend staying somewhere else.
