We stayed for the weekend at the Bayshore Resort and we cannot say enough about the customer service and kindness the staff showed us from check in to check out! The views were amazing and we rented a golf cart from them which was very convenient. Yes we were there in the off season but what a great place with very nice facilities. We lived the lake views and screened in balcony. The room was big and clean. We hope to stay again!

I liked the outside amenities. For the price we paid, which I thought was a somewhat high, I didn't like there was no small refrigerator or a coffee maker in the room. Also, we were given a handicap room when we could tell there were other rooms available the whole time we were there. Also, the ice maker on the first floor was broke and we had to go to the 3rd floor to use that ice maker. Which by the way, the grill where you set the ice bucket was missing.

Nice views, dirty room, poor amenities.

The room had tons of cobwebs. Had to get the manager to bring staff to clean it. The ice machine AND vending machine on the first floor were out of order. But the views were spectacular. It’s frustrating because the manager tried rationalizing the cobwebs, when the cobwebs had dust. These scenic hotels think they can get away with not cleaning rooms correctly because they’re on a waterfront property. It really ruins the experience. Service was great, but due to cleanliness and inconveniences, it’s a 3 star from me.

Great Family Getaway

The staff, the room and pool are amazing! Everything exceeded our expectation. The hotel is within walking distance to all the downtown fun. The pools over look Lake Erie and was heated. Great swimming in the cool nighttime air.

The tiki bar and food shack weren’t open as advertised. The ice machine was out of order. They charged for coffee. The room smelled of mold and mildew. There was visible mold in the bathroom and the grout needs to be scrubbed. In the bright side the pool was clean and heated and the staff was friendly!

Great place to stay at Put-in-Bay!

Loved our stay at Bayshore Resort. It was our first time at Put-in-Bay and chose this hotel based on reviews as well as its location. The room was very large and comfortable, and very very clean. Can’t say enough about how wonderful the front desk folks were. Will definitely stay here again.

This was our first trip and it did not disappoint!! Highs in the 60’s in August forced us into the hot tub only but it was plenty big enough to accommodate. The view is amazing!! The entire resort is cashless so keep that in mind. Also, the burger shack in the front closes whenever they feel like it so even if you were told 8 they could close at 7!
