Generally ok, but with some disappointment, great location, on the beach, but services a bit for the mass tourism, not always excellent

The resort is ok nothing to brag about. The entertainment and bar staff are nice and funny. You will definitely need to know Spanish to be able to communicate effectively with most staff. The beach was beautiful. There should be more staff to be able to take your order for a drink while relaxing on the beach. I had issues with the specialty restaurants in regards to reservations to eat at the them. The resort should eliminate having to make reservations at those restaurants because when you get to the restaurants and ask if you could eat without reservations; the staff says 'no we are booked" and you can clearly see that its empty. That made me upset and was forced to eat at the the not so go buffet that was available without a reservation. Another annoying issue is the outrageous charge to have WIFI in your room. Wifi is only avalilble for free in the common areas which it didnt have to best connection and to charge for Wifi when other items at the resorts are not as appealing brings it down for me. All in all my traveling partners and I had an ok trip.

The Hotel is very confortable, have a nice big and beatyfull beach. You can make a lot of activities and sport (if you want), and the meals are very good too. Very confortable, and it is ideal for families with small Kids.

Lobby staff: courteous Hotel activities, amenities and shows : excellent Restaurants staff: very rude We had roaches crawling all over, they clean your room, take ur towels and won't replace them right away. All the buildings are very deteriorated. I expected more from a Italian chain Hotel. I will never book there again.

A 6 day stay wasn't enough but perfect amount to relax. Loved the bungalows and our location.

-Resort Location VERY REMOTE.... -ROOM Furniture DIRTY & STAINED.... -FOOD VERY BLAND & NOT NATIVE Food- Catered towards European pallet. -CONCIERGES VERY PUSHY & RUDE, Wasted 2hrs of our Vacation on unsolicited "Membership Sales Pitch"..... -STAFF ROBOTIC & NOT WELCOMING other than towards Europeans, borderline PREJUDICE & I'm DOMINICAN...... *BEACH was AWESOME!!!!! *Rest. ATLANTIS was a delight...!!!!

The resort was well maintained and staff was quite friendly and accommodating.

Basically this place is like being on a party cruise ship (or what I'd imagine that is like - since I am against cruise ships and being treated like cattle). The first 4 days we had NO A/C! I could have dealt with that - if there was at least a ceiling fan - but - no fan - no breeze. Then to top that off there was a sewage smell coming in the room during those 4 days. The food was not great, but I was always able to find something acceptable to eat. The beach was beautiful and fairly well kept. But we got put in a room with no deck or outdoor space (like I thought we were supposed to get) - which made it really hard to get swimsuits and towels dry... I was there to scuba dive - so it was especially difficult. Also - if you are diving - do not use the hotel dive shops. Do your research and find a good local dive shop - that's what I did - thank goodness!!!

This was about what I expected for an all-inclusive. The food was decent. The drinks were small, but unlimited. All in all, not a bad place.

Meet my expectations. Many things to do: trapezio (super nice), kayaking, shows, disco in the swimming-pool area, excursions (saona island/dominibus) and more. I recommend this hotel.

Going into this trip I had read many reviews. I wish I would have listened. Bayahibe is an absolutely beautiful place but that's about it. The resort did not meet our expectations. First and biggest problem is that they cater only to European customers. Basically if you are not European you will not receive the same attention, activities and services. The infinity pool is where we spent most of our time. Unfortunately since we did not speak French we were not able to participate in any activities. That pool is run by a French tour company and therefore the only language we heard was French. Not only that but since we did not speak French the tour company staff barely even said hello to us. Another issue we found was the upkeep of the property. The pool was falling apart. One morning we went on the beach for a walk and found a dirty diaper and food left from the previous day. This resort could look so much better if it were kept up with properly. The free WiFi in the resort was terrible. Half the time you couldn't even log on and when you did you couldn't even access anything. The air conditioning is our room did not work properly. It was extremely warm until about 2am when it would become freezing in the room. Also smoking was allowed basically everywhere in the resort including in the pool. I was pregnant on this trip and could not find anywhere that I could get away from the smoking. Please listen to this review and DO NOT go to this resort. We love the Dominican Republic and can't wait to go back but we definitely will NOT be going to this resort ever again.

This was a great family trip with our 12 year old. Beautiful beach and lots to do. Staff was ok, but always had their hand out for a tip. Plenty of food choices. Tip: bring your own big cup, as they only give you tiny cups for any drink ( they will fill your own cup if you bring it.

The hotel is great, food is delicious, sea is blue but the staff does not care. Only one lady at the front desk was helpful, the others would just tell you to come later with your problems. I am not a picky person but when it takes 2 days and 5 visits to make a dinner reservation and 4 trips to the front desk to get a third towel for a room with 3 people, 3 visits to get the air-conditioner working, it gets annoying.

We had a garden bungalow. The room was great. Walls are thin so you can hear the other people next door. Location is perfect with a gorgeous beach.

This is my first vacation going to Santo Domingo and had a very good experience. Perfect employees, smiles everywhere and good food. I will like to vist again.

Started off waiting 45 minutes for our room & we got there right on time for check in. Rooms were very clean, bed was comfortable but the A.C was not working & it was so hot. It took about an hour maybe less for someone to come & fix the A.C, which was surprising. I was greatful it didn't take longer to fix the air conditioner. The Bartenders, Christina, Ralphy, & superman were so awesome. We will truly miss them. They will be the only reason we come back to this resort. Overall it was a very clean & nice place but a bit boring. They lack activities, but the 945pm performance show everyday was interesting & fun to watch. After party was a delight but after 1am, it does die down & there is nothing else to do. The beach was okay, needs improvement, but the pools were awesome & my favorite part of the trip. Clean pools & most of the time it was empty of people. Gift shops were way to expensive & so were the activities. The prices were way to high.. My stay length was 5 days & 4 nights which was good enough for me. The food they served was good, just wished they had more chicken & actual Dominican food. Would only recommend this place to my parents or any elderly folks.

Resort a beautiful place to stay, food was horrible. Air conditioner broke, complained four times before getting it fixed.

IT WAS A VERY GOOD HOTEL AND WE HAD LOTS OF FUN.WE WERE NOT EXPECTING TO ENJOYED SO MUCH AND IT TURNED IN A VERY GOOD CHOICE FOR A WEEK VACATION

The food was mediocre. The power went out in the resort. We were stuck in our room due to rain.

The hotel was just beautiful but the absolute best was the beach! Just blue-green water, perfect for swimming. The food was also fantastic. no complaints on the selection and variety. Overall, we had a relaxing time.
