We take vacays at least once or twice a year, so I can say, for the price that we paid this hotel was a little overpriced. Rooms were ok, but ran down, could use an update. our mom stayed in a room next to us had a accident when she was walking into shower the granite tiles on the wall fell on her head, shoulder, ad thighs, giving her bad bruises. Thankfully, it didnt kill her, but hotel staff came and checked on her, didnt offer any reimbursemt. she missed few days of enjoying the beach due to headaches she had after the incident and big bruises. Tried to bring it up to management, but all they said is that they did everything they could to help her. Another issue is booking their restaurants, HUGE ISSUE. Whenever u try to book a place, they say its all booked, hard to get any good seating times. we were with kids and they would always offer late night dinner reservations and we explained it doesnt work for us, but they kept saying theyre all booked. I feel like they do not have adequate capacity in their restaurants to accommodate all the guests. Offering buffet to us, but we did not want to do that. steakhouse and tepannyaki are the best, but HARD to get good dinner times. Sushi and mediterrenean was OK. Also, the staff at the beach would only bring u drinks if you tip them, otherwise they will not even come up and ask if u needed anything. Beach was nice, but alot of weeds, which was cleaned once in the morning, but could be the season (Dec). kids pool needs more cleaning
Went for a bachelorette weekend and the service and location was amazing. Loony bar offers the best drinks. Also check out Coci Bongo, it's $75 but very worth it!!
An extremely relaxing stay... We only wish we could have stayed a little longer.
Enjoyed everything. Had some concerns with room door. Two keys never worked.
Beautiful property. Staff even better. Highly recommended.
All staff so willing to please. We were there for a wedding and were given all their attention.
I usually don't leave reviews, but the reviews helped me locate this hotel. I would have given the hotel a 5 star, but it has roaches in the room and that ruined my vacation. Luckily, I saw the roaches a day before I checked out or I really would have hit the sealing. Oh!! and when I complained at the front desk, the dumb guy tried to deny it, then he had the audacity to say well this is tropical weather we have them here. The room was fairly large, but the bathroom there in ot a lot of privacy and I traveled with my son. The bed was very uncomfortable though, it slid at night. I also changed my room 3 times to get closer to the main building due to me staying for 7 nights. One good thing that the beach is extremely close to the pool, so you can run back and forth as you please. If they put you in the far room, you have a very long walk. Stay away from their fake expensive time share that doesn't have any hotels in the area I was trying to go. Yet they try to sell you on exclusivity but I have roaches in my room. The food was good for the most part, no complaints there. There were lots kids.. OMG.. So many little kids. My son was 15 and it was hard to find people there his age. The excursions were great!!!! They would say that only angry people leave reviews, but people that are happy will not. I was going to leave a very good review until the roach situation, this hotel acts so High End and it's supposed to be high end, figure out the roach problem first
Most relaxing vacation, we love this resort, dif finitely will return soon with friends!
The facilities where pleasant, but the customer service was not the best. The check in gentleman had this look on his face like he didn't want to be bothered. Had an annoying tone in his voice and didn't let us know where things were located. Room service took about an hour. The wait staff was not friendly. There was nothing close to the resort. Thecresirt is located in the Atlantic side, so if you're looking for Caribbean clear blue water... this is not the place to stay.
Great time with lots to do. Great food. Beach was very close. Lots to do at night. Great gym if you want to work out .
Beautiful place ,everybody always trying to help you ,and providing an excellent service .
First room had no air conditioning! Room was 80 degrees. Complained that night, nothing done. Complained the next morning, nothing done. Demanded a new room. Second room had blood stains all over the floor, and a chemical smell on the couch. Unlivable! Went to the desk and demanded another room, and made the person at the desk come inspect it with us. The third room had a musty smell to it, and my allergies began to act up. The fourth room was finally ok, at best. They did NOTHING to accommodate us for our extreme inconvenience. And we were part of a wedding there that brought 35 people to their resort! They didn't seem to care. I would never go back and strongly recommend that no one else does either!
My parents went to Punta Cana and they loved the hotel!! they payed an extra and got more facilities and luxurious service just for them. They want you to know the hotel is 100 recommended to couples.
I couldn't have asked for a better trip. The food was fantastic and the staff were absolutely exceptional. This is the way an all inclusive trip should be!
Both the resort and the staff were amazing! The food is excellent, the resort is very clean! Special compliment to the staff, especially Passion restaurant! Can't wait to our next trip in the resort!
We chose this resort based on the recommendation from a friend and were happy with our stay. The resort itself is gorgeous. The layout is confusing, but nothing different than any other resort out there. They do have some signs which helped. The pool is huge and has a swim up bar with friendly bartenders. The resort is right on the beach as well, no need to walk super far to get there. As we came in the off season, the pool wasn't too crowded and we were able to get chairs/cabanas very easily. The resort also provides some basic water sports: wind surfing, sailing, kayaking, foot paddling, snorkling, all for free. They have other sports you can pay for as well. The resort also provides SO much entertainment. There are guys working every day attempting people to get engaged in any way. Whether it be dance lessons, cocktail lessons, casino lessons, volleyball, candle making, they are really trying to get you to have a good time. There is also fashion shows, plays, circuses, etc that go on at night. The food at the resort was pretty great for resort food. Don't forget to save room for dessert! What was frustrating about the restaurants is that because it was off season, many of the restaurants were closed but you didn't know until you asked guest services. All of the information they provided upon checkin was for busy season so many of the restaurants were closed for certain meals or simply not open at all. The drinks were yummy and you didn't have to wait more than five minutes for a bartender to make them. You could also tell the bartenders were skilled. We paid extra (+$600 for a six night stay) for their Royal Service which includes various perks such as a personal concierge, a private lounge, private pool and an exclusive restaurant. I'm not sure it was worth it. It was nice to have the restaurant as it was open for all three meals as the only other open restaurant open for breakfast and lunch was a bit chaotic. Other than that, we didn't feel as if we got any extra attention. Our concierge was not proactive and only would assist us after we called him a few times. Overall, I really liked the resort but since the service was lacking, we would likely try a different resort before returning.
This place was wonderful. The staff were fabulous. Our butler Nicolas was very attentive and helpful. The entertainment staff were tons of fun - special thanks to Bun Bun, Snoopy and the rest of the volleyball players. Everyone was friendly, lots to do and the place was kept immaculate.
Beautiful hotel. Staff is friendly. The beach was beautiful. Everything about this hotel was perfect. I will definitely go again. Loved the shows as well.
the hotel was beautiful, clean, friendly staff, every amenity we could ask for. looking around I think we were at the best place by far. only annoyance was how overly eager the staff were to help us. we had a large party and they followed us around. it felt as if they were always looking for a tip. this however is common for the area and not unique to the hotel
This is a lovely hotel. I'm still giving it a 5 because even though there were a couple of small problems (I.e. phones didn't work in first room), the manager and staff addressed problems and made corrections. The rooms are large and comfortable. The pool and beach areas are well staffed and there are activities fir all ages. Food and drinks are good. Spa staff is terrific. Great for relaxation and fun.
