Prior to arriving we did the digital check in believing that this would alleviate our arrival. Upon arrival we were sat in the man area where we waited to be checked in again. They then got out documents and checked us in and said we would have to wait for our room. We then sat outside as we had 4 kids with us and two hours went by and our room still wasn’t ready. No one came and check on us our offered any additional help. Another hour went by and finally one of the employees Emely Burgos said is anyone helping you and we said no and she was able to get us to our room shortly after that. I’m not sure why the check in process couldn’t have been done faster

The reservation for dinner was horrible. We had a big group and they couldn’t accommodate to us. The food in the buffet was limited and cold most of the time. The hotel was empty and there were no activities for us to do.

We had booked a special birthday trip with the grandparents in May 2025. The resort is special and has a great pool and water park that we felt were not as well advertised as they were standout features of the resort. They had dance shows yes, magic shows and other activities poolside every single night we were there, which everyone really enjoyed. We traveled in a large group ranging from 4 to 74 years old, and everyone had something to do at this place which we liked. The restaurants were varied and all generally very nice, although the concierge level service helped getting reservations as this was a busy time at the property. Our little girl turned 4 and the concierge planned a nice celebration and decorations to make it extra special for her. The only negative I had was the private tour operator they had in the resort Who frankly should be banned as they do not run a professional operation. We were promised something end got something quite different when we booked a boat trip with them, which left a bad taste in the mouth at the end of what would otherwise have been a magical memorable trip for our daughter with her grandparents.

The resort should arrange pickups from the airport so vistors can avoid harassment by vacation club associates with deals that will cause us not to come back to there resort we booked
