Memories Splash Punta Cana - All Inclusive

Overall a good place to stay, with great kids club and good attention to safety at the pools and in splash park. Unfortunately, food and the overall feeling of the resort has worsened over the last few years. More of a party scene/feel than a 4 star resort.

Disappointed! Only 3 restaurants to choose from one was good (Mexican) however the service was terrible! Waterpark was fun but I would pay extra to stay at Royalton their sister hotel ! You get to use all of memories amenities & Royalton is a much nicer hotel ! We were under the impression we could use Royalton amenities but we could not . Staff was very unprofessional. This is not located on the beach!

My family and I were so excited to stay at the Memories Splash Punta Cana, but all this excitement went off after the terrible rooms temperature and poor management control of their employees.

I can't even begin to speak about our amazing vacation. The best part of the trip was this hotel. The staff was so friendly and made you feel right at home. The bartenders were so funny and full of life. We didn't want to leave the pool because there were so many activities during the day from water polo, bachata lessons, races, etc...you name it, they had it. We are planning another trip back in a few months and would love to stay in this hotel. Loved it!!!!!

Great place for vacation, i strongly recommended !!!!

I thought the hotel was nice. It was clean and they were always found some upkeep. I didn't think the staff was that friendly. And we did the upgraded diamond club and it couldn't compare to the diamond club/butler service we have done at other hotels. We didn't get the early check in or room we requested. We didn't get the pool toys as promised. We only saw our butler once and then never again. Diamond club did give us better alcohol and access to diff areas but we had to o upgrade to the Royalton diamond club when we were there to really get access to all. Overall it was nice (esp. the Royalton) and the pool at memories has more fun things going on each day. There was a lot for kids which was cool. And the beach area was beautiful. B+/A vacation resort.

Excellent staff great service. The food was ok. The italian restaurant was the best of all.

We spent 6 days here 1/7/2017 to 1/12/2017. Booked through Expedia. Memories is part of a two hotel resort (which we did not know) ... the other being The Royalton. Both resorts are next door to the Majestic. The Royalton property appears to be the nicer of the two and is much closer to the beach. If at Memories try to get a room closer to the water park. Memories has a fairly significant water slide park at the south end of the resort. If you are at Memories, the walk to the beach (depending upon where your room is) can be 5 to 10 minutes ... there is regular shuttle service available. Our room was across from the water slide park. We had not been to an all-inclusive in 34 years, preferring to use local restaurants. The beaches are some of the nicest beaches we have ever been to. Long, clean, walkable beaches on Caribbean blue warm water. We spent most of our time on the beach ... although there are an abundance of pools in both resorts. Join The Diamond Club ... price is negotiable ... we started at five fifty and up at three hundred ... opens up amenities use at both resorts. There are "over and above" restaurants where the food quality is a notch or two higher than the all-inclusive fare ... that price can be negotiable ... we got two kids for free for Hunter's Steakhouse. Airport is an exercise in an organized cluster and standing in quality lines. Buy your entry pass on line ... $10 apiece ... you will save yourself waiting in one of the lines.

Check in was easy. Staff was friendly, some staff you deal with don't understand what you are asking, even if you make a picture. The food was very good at the Italian, seafood (Mediterranean food) restaurants. The buffet does have some good dishes as well. You defiantly need to make reservation a few days before you plan on going. The splash pool was a great time everyday with the staff with the games and the bartenders. Ramon at the Splash bar was great, very social, and wanted you to have a good time, even if the rain came in! He does a great job with delivering drinks with his bicycle on his head. The Royalton was next door also a nice place for a sister property. We did spend time at the water park for our 13 and 6 year olds to burn off some energy. The staff was very good over in the water park. Chairs are hard to come by grab them when you can they go fast. At the splash pool chairs are tough to get, to many people throw a towel on a chair and go to the beach then complain they had their shoes there and they were only gone for 20 minutes to eat.

Was only here for one night while waiting for another hotel. Stayed here because of the water slides for my son.... who is 119.7cm tall. If he were 0.3 cm taller he could have ridden on those slides. So there was the reason for even staying here down the tubes. But it gets worse. For some reason our hotel room thermostat was broken and was set to max cold. So we froze. We called and asked for someone to fix it but no one came. Finally the room walls are thin, and we had some neighbors who believe in letting crying babies cry themselves back to sleep.... no matter how much they cry and we heard it all. It went on for 9 hours! The people at the hotel were mostly reaponsive with shrugs on these issues. So if you go measure your kid with an accurate device or else they will be splashing in the baby pool. The food was decent. The grounds were pretty.

we traveled with 4 kids, so we picked this hotel primarily for the water park access. The park was fun, but extremely slippery. We saw several kids slip and fall on the wet tiles. No adult beverages allowed in this area, so really many parents just left their kids unsupervised in this area.

Didn't receive the rooms as booked even after going to front desk several times with reservation paper with me, no casino at this hotel as described, casino at next hotel closed and never found out why, mini fridge never restocked with beer as stated, pool and water park closes too early, room key bracelets kept deprogramming. Overall this hotel is overpriced and not worth money paid. Will not return

We picked this hotel mainly for the waterpark since we were traveling with 4 children. Water park was nice, clean and fun but the floor was soooo slippery! i saw several people slip. No adult drinks served or allowed inside which was a bummer. The pool area is extremely crowded and had to fight for chairs very early in the morning, but once there it was fun. They had everything from aqua aerobics to pool foam parties. it was great not to have to make reservations to eat at any of the restaurants but wait was always about 2 hours. Our biggest issue was the room. It had the hardest most uncomfortable bed ever! and it was sunken in the middle which made it even worse. We had 2 rooms between the 6 of us and the other bed was the same. We ran out of hot water daily in only 1 room and sink kept clogging. It was chaotic getting showered for dinner when we had to share one bathroom that does not even have partitions or doors for privacy.

It was great the staff at the bars like Julio and other was great the staff at all you can eat buffet tony was awesome and takes great picture loved the whole vacation will come back here very soon

Not a good resort , people are not helpful. Rooms not clean and old .

We had a great time in Memories splash punta cana, staff are warm and friendly. We felt welcomed, safe and had a great time. We would not hesitate to go back. The rooms and facilities were clean and fresh and there were staff everywhere always busy taking care of guests needs very kid-friendly complex.

Memories Splash is nice hotel, but it is located about 10-15 min walk from the ocean. You can take a ride on a charter bus, but there are only two, so might wait for 10-15 minutes. And it might be full. Food is not bad, there are good varieties, but most meals are the same every day, so by the end of the week you are getting sick of eating the same stuff over and over. They need a new cook. A lot of food taste so bad and it just been wasted. But you won't be hungry if you like fruits. Staff in the restaurants are very lazy. Even when you tip them, they don't want to do anything. You have to ask for ten times before you get what you need and it will take 10-15 min.

Overall very nice hotel- grounds kept beautifully, restaurants have lots of options. Pool and Water park big plus. Beach easy to get to and nice. Need to grab seats at pool and beach early! Staff at pool bar (Ramon) is the best and entertainment staff ( Pablo & Willard) exceptional. Gets everyone involved. Front desk people (Gregory) not as helpful- check in and out process longer than needed to be and not very helpful. Took awhile to get rollaway bed that was needed and promised. People from Nexus (excursions) are a bit aggressive trying to sell. Overall very nice resort- negative was that too many people are looking to sell either excursions or have you sit through presentations. No one wants to do that on vacation.

I purchased the diamond's club level. It's amazing. You get access to almos everything, and a personal concierge. I got a free Champagne at the room, a free bottle of gin, and a basket of fruits, on different days. Luis and Angel at the martini mix bar were the best. Also Margarita and Oscar at the the Selections buffet. A great experience. Will recommend.

The service can be improved greatly (esp during busy breakfast time). We had to ask for coffee, kids juice and wait for 5-7 min. However, the bartenders in the pool bars are great: quick and make delicious mojitos. The beach is clean and well-equipped. The rooms are different depending on the building. We checked-in in building 1 and had 2 outdated rooms with aweful smell and cheap plastic furniture. With an infant we refused to stay and requested to change our rooms. We were moved to building 9 and the rooms were much better. Heard a similar complaint the next day from another visitor.
