The staff was very attentive and friendly. Everything was spotless. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and the paella by the beach was too. The specialty restaurants were good, especially the staff, but I was not impressed with their food and selections. The shows and amenities were spectacular. I recommend that they limit the people selling things at the beach, as it was annoying.

We paired for an upgrade to swim up when we arrived there and found the room to have multiple broken things such as broken sparking power outlets manager promised us. A refund from the upgrade and told us it would take 7-10 days it’s been weeks and we never received the money back , property is nice and clean but most staff don’t speak even minimum English which makes it difficult to order for or drinks When we went on excursion speed boat from the resort on its property they dropped my phone into the ocean while taking picture of us and lost the phone cover with 200$ in it and took no responsibility whatsoever I would not come back to this resort Bahia in Mexico was a a lot better

Everything on the property is AMAZING! As many may know stepping off of the resort and into Punta Cana is unsafe. Robbery- money beggars and much more. Always store your stuff in the safe! Great place amazing people on the resort!! 10/10 resort experience!

This resort was nice. I did notice that the updates in the rooms didn't seem like they spent a lot of time doing them. The paint looked like it was slapped on..no ventilation in the bathroom so it got stinky. It was real hard to control the water temperature in the shower. The comforter on the bed smelled like B.O. (yuk). We asked for a new one through the app but it never was replaced. They did keep the place well stocked with towels and drinks. The room was cleaned daily. The staff was very friendly and mostly accommodating.

The room was very clean and updated, the fan we had in the bedroom was a bit squeeky but tolerable. The restaurants food were great and the staffs were the friendliest, most helpful and amazing people ever. We will definitely book Bahia Principe Ambar again!

Overall the hotel is great especially the ambar being next to the beach and the pool. The food was good at the restaurants, some better than others. My issues were more with customer service. We asked for umbrellas during a day of pouring rain and it too three times of asking and calling to finally get one. We were also supposed to get a free bottle of wine with our room that never happened after asking multiple times about it. And lastly I went to pay my bill and the staff did not inform me that there was a USD tax when choosing the USD option for a credit card that was 10%! I thought I was overcharged but they basically said they can’t do anything since I didn’t hit the Dominican currency that was only 2% after I already paid so I got duped another $50 with my bill because I was basically told to just run my card without currency explained. I would come back I just wish the communication was better with requests and the front desk.

Very clean room quick room service, in Sandra who cleaned my room just made it beautiful left flowers. I commend her. And Andreina, the waitress in the hotel bar was just fabulous. Bartenders were great. Food was very good

Place is amazing !! We went there for four days but it was one beautiful resot, the rooms are beautiful the pathway are clean, its nice quiet and the staff are nothing but friendly and helpful. Def will come again!

We enjoyed everything about our stay. The entertainment we fantastic. Yamie, Madelin and Rolando the entertainment team was so much fun and entertaining, they worked hard to keep everyone entertained. Kelvin the pool bartender was awesome. Cant wait to go back. Our room was cleaned daily and she left the cutest towel decoration aling with fresh flowers. The was amazing. I wish I could remember her name. She worked in rooms starting in 63. Thank you all for a great 2 weeks ❤️
