They seem to struggle with reservations that were booked through Expedia. Señora Rosa couldn't initially find our reservation, but then did, but said we couldn't check in 'til 3. When we came back, we were hoping it would be her, but she had just ended her shift and a guy was there, and the room and package he gave us, was NOT the one we booked. We were supposed to have a room with one bed and one sleeper sofa, upstairs with an ocean view, beach towels, a mini bar, daily coffee and water and breakfast included, and we had none of those things. The room wasn't bad, but it wasn't what we booked. He didn't even give me the WiFi password. When I went to ask for it, he was being a smart alec saying, "it's very easy", like I was just supposed to guess it. When I asked him about breakfast, he was adament that we didn't have breakfast included, until I made him check and he saw that in fact, we DID. He clearly only looked at our dates, but didn't bother looking at the details. Contrary to what was stated online, the breakast is at 8, not 6 and there is no restaurant on the property. We had to walk a few minutes down the beach to where the breakfast was, and it was mediocre.
All that being said, the property and grounds were nice, but the rooms and pool area are in serious need of rennovations, (our fridge was rusty) and there's only one restaurant next to the hotel.
That being said, it was cool to be in a more local area, rather than a secluded all-inclusive.
