Iberostar Grand Hotel Bavaro Adults Only - All inclusive

Iberostar Grand was an exceptional property on a very nice stretch of walkable beach. Property was very well maintained and was always kept exceptionally clean. Room was very modern and inviting and featured a large balcony that was great for relaxing after supper. Beach lounge chairs with palapas were generally available as were the pool cabanas. Food was always good and occasionally exceptional (steak at Surf and Turf). Service was very consistent and what you would expect at a 5-Star resort. Departing Punta Cana’s airport is a hassle but we loved everything else about DR and will be back!

Great hotel! Wonderful staff! Everything was amazing from day 1 till we left.

Much like s cruise without the ship. Food, a lot ok not great. Staff very nice. We had problems with air conditioning and electric. Overall relaxing and nice.

Wonderful hotel, great staff but DO NOT SHOP AT HOTEL STORES & USE AMERICAN CREDIT CARD. If you do, MAKE SURE you get a receipt. I shopped at "Cosita Linda" a beautiful bathing suit store inside of Iberostar Grand. I found a gorgeous bathing suit coverup for $67 dollars (US). I used my Visa card and was charged $108! I did not save my receipt because I immediately wore the coverup for the rest of the trip and due to how nice the hotel was, I never would have guessed I would experience any type of fraud. I am disgusted and this absolutely put a bad taste in my mouth about the trip.

More than we could have imagined or anticipated. Your first impression as you walk into hotel is overwhelming, as it is gorgeous. Staff from front desk, your butler to housekeeping are all great.

Spent a three day weekend at hotel. Close to the airport. Hotel is on a great beach and has a nice pool scene. Staff is attentive, can sometimes be overly aggressive but have good intentions. Lots of restaurant options. Food was good, not great. Drinks were solid, they say premium, but not too many premium options. Lots to do there, you wont be bored.

El mejor personal La mejor atencion Limpio Habitaciones perfectas Rica comida

My stay at the Iberostar was very nice except the restaurants and food could have catered to vegetarians a bit more. I am vegetarian and it was very limited on what I could eat, only one meal choice usually at each restaurant for vegetarians. Also making reservations at the restaurants was a bit inconvenient. Limited time slots available even though when I went to the restaurants there were plenty of tables free and unused. I did not use the butler service much but they were quick to respond when I did and the room service was awesome. Did not care to much for the entertainment they had going on. Seemed geared toward older people. I am 60 but the music/entertainment was not up to date with the current generation and it would be nice if they had more modern up to date entertainment. Overall my stay was good, room was clean and all I could ask for (except the meals). I would recommend this hotel and I may stay again but I also may look into a resort with more vegetarian meals.

If you're looking for an all inclusive, look no further. This is the place for you. Staff was extremely friendly and looked after your every need. The resort is beautiful and has both superior food and beach life than any other resort in the area!

We had great experience, the food from the restaurants was delicious, the staff ware very friendly and made us feel that we're home..Everything at the hotel is amazing.

everyone was friendly. butlers Melvin starling and Sylvester couldn't do enough for you. food was good

I stayed at Iberostar Grand Bavaro for 5 days and had a great time from start to finish. As soon as you arrive to the hotel you can see that it has all the bells and whistles you would expect in a luxury hotel. Our Butler Leo was amazing! Leo made our stay very pleasurable and was attentive to all our needs. All of the staff were really friendly and would go out of there way to make you feel welcomed. In more than one occasion I would be greeted by name by the staff and that made me feel so special that they remembered me. If I come back to Punta Cana I would definitely stay at the Grand and I will highly recommend it to all my friends and family.

Drinks are not top shelf and the pool is very boring as far as activities with little music. If you want to be very quiet, it's just for you. Food was decent, service staff is very friendly but most do not speak English.

Inside hotel staff are useless, I asked 4 different employees for a case of water sent to my room because o dehydrated easily, about 5x , didn't receive the water so I wound up getting dehydrated and couldn't get out of bed for a day and a half, outside staff were very friendly and nice

Wonderful vacation in Paradise! Staff was attentive and most friendly; food was fabulous. Our room had a nice ocean view and was very clean. The landscaping was beautiful. Would definitely go back to this five star property!

White sand, clear blue water, friendly and attentive staff. Clean manicured gardens, good food. A great vacation!!

Perfect for a quiet, relaxing beach weekend. Food options were OK, I preferred the buffets and room service to the restaurants, though we were only able to get into the Mediterranean and Japanese restaurants, so I can't speak for the others.

The best restaurant was the surf and Turf. The people were eager to please. All day luxury. If you are not looking for a time of relaxation, this is not the place for you.

I took my mom for her 60th. We had an amazing experience. The staff was truly amazing and made the trip a memorable experience. The buffet was truly awesome. We didn't know there were shops on the beach until day 4 as we did back to back activities. The hotel will take you wherever you want to go.

Everything was great and as advertised but have two complaints: 1. Only available times for dinner were at 9 pm for all of the restaurants. If you want an earlier time you have to do it online before arriving. I feel this takes away from the spontaneity of a relaxing vacation. 2. Reserving lounges and chairs at pool area should not be allowed. People get up at the crack of dawn and have the pool servants reserve chairs with a towel for the entire day if you go to those chairs or not. This is a big waste of space. If you are using the chairs and have personal items on the chairs then the chair is taken. If you are not at the chairs and there are no personal items then the chair is free. It is that simple. Otherwise there are a lot of chairs in prime locations that no one is using. I don't know if this is allowed only at this hotel or at all but this rule is inefficient. I prefer the method used on cruise ships. If you are away from your chair for more than a certain amount of time you give up the right to your chair. It is only fair to everyone else. I'm on vacation and do not need to wake up at 6 or 7 am just to reserve a chair. I'll stay at work if I want to get up that early. Otherwise, the service and staff were truly 5 stars.
