After 2 nights being woken in the middle of the night by animals crawling and scraping the return vent in the ceiling for hours on end we moved rooms. Both rooms were on the 3rd floor with no elevators. The layout of the complex is sus or so new prepared for a great deal of waking. They do offer a team that does laps around the complex so that helps. The team takes longer than waking so that's up to you. The buffet was not good at all. Lacked flavor and zero creativity. The same exact thing every day. That was a huge disappointment. The only good food was the reservation dining. I've been to a dozen all inclusive resorts and this was by far the worst one. It's a solid 3 start resort. Staff was really friendly, housekeeping did great. It just didn't have any extra wow effect in any category.

The staff was beyond rude. The cleaning service sucked, always forgetting to bring us new fresh towels. There were live and dead bugs on the walls, the floor, and the curtains to the balcony door. The food was absolutely horrible, all of the restaurants require reservations for dinner with only one restaurant open for buffet at night. Which was terrible. We skipped breakfast and lunch every day because we couldn’t bear to eat that food. When it came to dinner since everything was so bad and we were starving from not eating all day, we actually had to order food to the resort, 3/5 nights we did this. Drinks also tasted so fake and like nothing. This place is a huge rip off and no one should waste their time or money on this place especially if they’re trying to have a good time and enjoy themselves.

We stayed at the Grand Bávaro Princess for 10 days, and in our opinion this is not a true 5-star resort. It feels closer to a 3.5-star property, but the bigger issue is that it’s marketed and priced as a premium 5-star all-inclusive while delivering a mid-range experience. Many of the amenities listed online were either unavailable, not functioning, or came with extra charges, which created a clear gap between expectations and reality. Customer service was inconsistent and often felt tip-dependent, especially at the bars. Without tipping first, even simple drink requests could take a long time. Premium liquor brands were not available unless you were a Platinum member, and the standard selection was very basic, with only one type of beer across the resort. The room had a strong musty smell, visible mold in the bathroom, and felt worn. Housekeeping replaced sheets regularly, but the minibar and bottled water were only restocked once in 10 days, despite signs warning guests not to drink tap water. Wi-Fi was unreliable, even after paying for the premium option. Out of eight restaurants, only four felt close to a decent 4-star standard. The buffet was acceptable, but repetitive. Several advertised activities were missing, and evening entertainment lacked variety. The beach itself is nice, but there were few activities and constant vendors. Overall, the resort may suit budget travelers, but if you expect true 5-star service, premium drinks, and consistent quality, this is not it!

I was moved to two different rooms from how dirty they were! Including a live Lizard in the bedroom. Service was very poorly done and any requests we made were never received or acknowledged from there service staff, we were in the resort for 4 nights and we never had a sheet changed or any service done!! It was very sad that we traveled to another country just to receive such horrible service!!!! Never visiting this place again!!!! Or will recommend it to anyone !!!!!
