I loved the location so close to the beach and the property manager Freddy took care of our every need. Ill definetely be staying there again and i have no complaints. With all the stories going on about DR i didnt know what to expect but i was glad i came. Never did i feel unsafe or unhappy. Cant wait to get back

This was a full apartment with kitchen, living room, and 2 bedrooms. I was expected just 2 bedrooms. There was only air conditioning in the 2 bedrooms. The main areas were so hot that they were difficult for us to use. The air conditioner in one bedroom did not work that well so it was pretty warm but the other was good. We arrived late and our toddler was already asleep so I put her down in one room. When I looked more carefully, there was a balcony where the door was broken so you couldn't lock it. I didn't feel good about her staying in there by herself so I slept with her. My husband slept in the other bedroom. I feel like that door should have been an immediate fix because of safety concerns with children. The pool area was beautiful and not many people. We had a bit of a problem communicating because many of the employees did not speak any English. They had a deal for breakfast with a restaurant down the street. That was the highlight of our visit. The restaurant was so quaint with a beautiful beach view. Wonderful service and delicious food!

Daily breakfast is a half block walk to a beautiful little beachside restaurant where breakfast is prepared for you. Hotel staff are receptive to your needs. We had an issue with a bed mattress that was too soft and we were offered another room with a firmer mattress. The staff also looked out for the safety of our teenager and we really appreciated that. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely book the hotel again for future travels.

I liked that we were steps to the beach and the room has pleasing aesthetics. Also, walking distance to all the restaurants and market. The rooms can use a little bit more scrubbing down for my taste. Other than that it was an enjoyable stay.

I love the location .. I prefer an independent place over all inclusive as I want to understand the area This place is beautiful safe and local ....

Never checked in or stayed at place, went to another condo, that was not so dirty or nasty, requested my money back from Orbitz and Chateau Del Mar, each place said to contact other, this was my 10 th trip in 24 mos to Dominican so I know what a clean place looks like, so Orbitz or travel insurance is useless

We only stayed for a few days, but it is always nice to have an apartment with a full kitchen (we only used the microwave and refrigerator). The pool was nice and could have been cleaner, but we enjoyed having it right outside of our door. The only downside, in my opinion, is although you are really close to the beach, there are no chairs to utilize. We are able to have breakfast (included) at the nearby restaurant, but the choices are very limited. We at there only one day. If I was not staying at a resort, I would certainly stay here again. Freddy, the manager, was quite helpful. The wifi worked very well and the pretty showers had plenty of hot water.

Great place, friendly staff. 1 minute walk to the beach and breakfast is included! And very good breakfast too. Would definetly stay here again.

We stayed in the penthouse which is a must. Breakfast provided every morning at a restaurant 2 minute walking distance or less. Beach is a 3 minute or less walk. The private balcony in the 5th floor was amazing with a private semi pool and sauna and bar. The rooms were amazing. Beautiful view of the Ocean in any place in the penthouse. Staff super friendly!!!! Thank you Freddy for making our stay amazing!!!!

Nice hotel nice rooms excellent stuff close to everything noce breakfast by the beach we using this again

Not beachfront, but close. This place is about 20 yards from the beach. There's an affiliated beachfront restaurant a few steps away that serves up a nice complimentary breakfast for hotel guests. The staff there is great and the food is basic (eggs, pancakes--the usual) but excellent. The hotel itself has very nicely appointed suites (apartments/condos, really), and the staff and service were great. The staff is very friendly and were very helpful in helping us make arrangements for everything from taxi service to entertainment and tour packages. The hotel also had scooters for rent, which we took advantage of and had a great time exploring the area on them. We spent a good deal of time taking advantage of the swimming pool and the poolside bar. They could use a hot-tub, though. That is one nice thing that is missing.

There were several ammenities that did not function properly in our room. We notified the hotel staff and after a few days they were either fixed or a work around was offered. For example, the washer and dryer did not work. The staff offered us to have the cleaning maid clean our laundry for free which we did. The TV in the master bedroom did not work. A smaller one was installed and a few days later it was replaced with the same larger sized one we started with. The heater in the jacuzzi did not work, this was never really fixed. The lights on the penthouse did not all work and it was difficult to see at night. These were never replaced. The stove did not work and was never repaired. We did not have a working phone on our room. This was never fixed. All of these items were brought to the attention of both orbitz and the hotel staff on the second day of our trip. There really is no excuse to not have some of the easier issues resolved like lights and a working phone.

Condo was extremely spacious with a full kitchen, balcony and safe. Property had a well maintained pool. Breakfast was included at the nearby restaurant which was exceptional.

We stayed for 9 days I loved every moment the staff was great my husband made new friends it's close to everything walking distance. Kid friendly. The condos are new and well taken care of, lots of security on and off the property felt like we lived there for years. William is a great bartender by the pool side and if you need help with anything tell Beto my kids really miss those guys. We will never stay anywhere else.

I really enjoyed this hotel it's close to the beach walking distance to the markets lots of fun activities & the breakfast was great! The property was clean the pool & the bar was nice setting & William is a great bartender! Will definitely be back again it was worth the money
