A group of friends and I went to Punta Cana (with the current news) and this is the “hotel” we stayed at. Upon arrival we had a driver pre-booked to pick us up from the airport and bring us to the property. The hotel is located on the grounds of the Hard Rock Casino and Resort but they are not affiliated. This is beautiful boutique condo hotel and the staff were all extremely nice. We stayed in the 3bd 3.5bath condo which was definitely big enough for the six of us but we did not like the open bathroom concept so it took some getting used to. The hotel is clean, and the cleaning solution is very evident from the hallways to the room so be prepared for an overwhelming smell of “cleaner”. The views from the main patio wasn’t pleasant, there is a lot of construction in the area. The pool and lounge area is nice and was fairly quiet the entire time. The staff speaks predominantly Spanish, so make sure you have the basics in order to communicate. We had one issue with our AC which wasn’t turned on prior t our arrival so it took quite a while to kick in, but it finally worked. There were ants throughout the condo, which none of us liked but they came in twice to care for them. We also encountered two lizards which made their way into the room, but the maintenance man was able to get it out with the assistance of one of my friends. By the last day of our trip we were all ready to go, but definitely agreed the hotel was very nice. We liked that no one entered our room during the stay but getting towels was never an issue. We also loved the full kitchen, getting our own groceries and water helped ease any uncertainties. The hotel will transport you to the beach via golf cart and it’s a quick and easy ride over, don’t skip that it was the best part! I would recommend this if you don’t want the hassle of the resort drama that’s happening, but if you need something all inclusive this is not the one for you.
The Beach Rock Boutique Hotel was the REAL Deal! The hotel was absolutely beautiful and super clean! The very BEST part of our stay at the BR was the people (Vianna and two others lady and man). Each of them were so thoughtful, attentive, and continually were looking for ways to make our vacation wonderful! This team of 3 genuinely cares and set the standard when it comes to authentic customer care! We could not be more thankful and touched by their hos[pitatlity and careful care they continue to take of our family!
We really enjoyed our stay. The place was clean, spacious, and nice. The pool and sitting area are really nice and not overcrowded. ALL the staff was very nice and accommodating. Full kitchens you can cook if you want, and nice furnished balconies you could relax on. I would definitely stay there again. I would recommend they put some kind of curtain or something for privacy in the rooms to separate the bathroom area, but there is a half bath with privacy as well.
We haven't been gone 24 hours, but we've been sad about leaving for 48 hours. This was by far the best trip we've taken in the past several years! Partly because it was relaxing and stress-free (we completely disconnected), but mostly because the accommodations far exceeded our expectations. I am a thorough researcher -- I looked at more than 40 hotels and sites while we planned where to go and where to stay. I am meticulous in my reading of reviews and one or two bad comments can be enough to cause me to move on to the next. When I read the reviews for Beach Rock Condo Hotel, I told my husband, "This is it! I've found the perfect place." We booked that night and we began our countdown to travel. When we arrived, I was taken aback by how beautifully unassuming the hotel is from the outside. The exterior is lovely, but it truly disguises the overwhelming beauty once you enter -- both the apartment and the indoor/outdoor living area. As we entered the 2-bedroom, 2.5 bathroom apartment, we were blown away by how spacious it was! The living room/kitchen area is huge -- easily has space for 6 to eat comfortably, a full-sized refrigerator, ample seating, a wonderful balcony (we were on the 2nd floor), and a powder room -- all immaculate! The first bedroom was beautifully appointed, with a large full-sized bed and a beautiful bathroom (and entrance to balcony). Then, around the corner is the master bedroom --spacious, tastefully decorated, again with entrance to the balcony. And the master bathroom has two basins, ample room for two people -- and a luxury shower with two heads, two tile walls, one stone wall, and a glass window looking out onto the balcony! (Not to worry -- although you can see inside up close, the design is strategic in that you'd have to be on the balcony (from inside the apartment) to have a view anyway. It's simply amazing -- and something we've never seen in luxury 5-star suites where we've stayed in the past. As gorgeous as the apartment is, the view downstairs is equally enchanting! There are two large (like, enough for 6-8 people) seating areas, with a large television, beautiful stone tables, and several spaces for eating. There are two bar areas, all before walking out to the pool area, where there are poolside seats all around. There's even a jungle gym for young children. The staff decorated for the holidays while we were there so the palm trees in the back were strung with white lights for a sparkling display. There were changing colored lights in the pool to give it a beautifully mesmerizing glow, all making for a picturesque scene. And the jacuzzi on the top floor was magnificent!! Completely romantic and relaxing!! Simply amazing!! There were several excursions available, and we had considered visiting Saona Island for a day. Quite frankly, the beach area at Cana Bay was so enchanting, we opted to instead visit there three days straight. We had a short trip in the golf cart (because it's vacation, and who wants exercise?), and we were deposited into a splendor of blue-green beach area, with a covered bar and eating area, massive infinity pool and tons of seating. But...back to Beach Rock - as splendid as the hotel is, and as beautifully appointed as the rooms and grounds are, the staff is what we miss most already! Elvis -- who seems to be the glue who holds everything so tightly together -- greeted us at the airport and whisked us to the hotel. From the moment we stepped in the vehicle, he offered much-needed advice. He stopped at Jumbo (local chain grocery store) and recommended we get some basics like fruit, beverages, etc. to help the apartment feel like home. He got us set up when we arrived, and he offered to transport us should we decide to leave paradise. (We took him up on that suggestion for a restaurant, and I'm drooling thinking about the lobster at Lorenzillo's)!!! It's a small staff, and we were among only a couple guests for the majority of our time there, but we were treated like house guests you actually want to visit! We weren't pressured to "do" anything, but we certainly felt like if we needed anything, we would have only to ask. If you're looking for an all-inclusive, this isn't it. There are a couple hotels in the area where you can get all the noise, food, alcohol, and party atmosphere, or child options you desire. Even if you choose one of those, I'd suggest taking one night to stay at Beach Rock just to get away from allllllll the people you'll continuously see at the all-inclusive venues. A family checked into one of the other Beach Rock apartments the night before we left. We heard the children briefly as they were entering the elevator, so this is not just a place for couples. In fact, when we return next year, we've told out adult children to make plans to rent one of the other apartments so we can have a family vacation and still have our privacy. It’s an excellent set up for a group gathering, where you can share times, dine together, and still have time apart. Our last night there, we sat down and enjoyed dinner with members of the staff!! A true Dominican meal, great conversation, lots of laughing, and smiles all around! It was like Thanksgiving-part two for us! I could go on and on about how much we enjoyed our stay! But, it's simply indescribable and my words won't do it true justice. If you're going to Punta Cana -- or thinking about going -- do yourself a favor and stay at Beach Rock Condo Hotel! You won't regret it! If I could give this a 10, I would!
My stay at this hotel went way beyond my expectation. It is the hidden jewel of Punta Cana as it is located right across from the Hard Rock Casino. The hotel grounds and rooms are absolutely beautiful. It is a nice and quiet spot where someone can relax indoors or outdoors. The rooms are very modern and large. The balcony provided a view of the surrounding area and golf course. The kitchen area, and dining room had more than enough for any length of stay. Felt no different than home as you could spend the day or night in and make a meal and enjoy it with friends/family. The internet was excellent and had fast connection speeds for those who need to do a little work as I had to for a short time. I can't say enough good things about the staff here. They were so nice and accommodating. Checked on me when they saw me around and asked if there was anything I needed or if everything was well with my room. Room service was fantastic. Showers, towels, beds, linens, etc.. were professional grade clean. Floors and counters were spotless. You can tell someone put a lot of thought into this condo because every detail and item was perfect. This was the best place I have stayed at in the Dominican Republic!!
nicely located inside Hard Rock hotel complex, right in front of the main building but completely apart from it. Beautiful and exclusive hotel condo fully equipped, with only 8 condos and their parkings, tastefully designed and very nicely maintained, clean and modern, just right for couples, family and friends. A beautiful pool right by the golf course, and a top floor panoramic jacuzzi. They also offer breakfast and dinner at an additional price. excellent service, very kind and proactive personnel always willing to please and comfort your stay. Access and shuttle to the Cana Rock Beach Club at no additional cost, with the same great service and modern well preserved place. complimentary towel and bottled water service is available. I would say one of my nicest stays in Punta Cana.
My stay at Beach Rock was incredible, a cozy home feeling while been attended with the best service. They’re divided in private luxury condos with a common lobby and pool with Bavaro’s finest beach at a walking distance. Highly recommended!
