The staff wasn’t as friendly compared to other resorts in Punta Cana. The main lobby wasn’t appealing. I usually like to take a family photo upon arrival but there was a good area to take our traditional family photo upon arriving

The property was average. The choices at the “all inclusive” bar was very limited. The floors in the room needed to be mopped. The staff was very friendly. The buffet is great for “PORK” eaters. Getting reservations at the restaurants are a big task. But we did have a great time in our excursions and pool side. My review is not to say don’t go because we did have a time but it can stand a few adjustments

Overall it was a good experience. There were staff that didn’t seem happy with their jobs but I didn’t let that get to me. There were also very helpful staff when it came to getting taxis and recommendations. I’ll never go in summer season. Too much seaweed.

Honestly not great. Front desk had attitude on the day of check in. Staff frequently rolled their eyes and wouldn’t respond to “thank yous”. When we would visit a store we would constantly be pestered by the store clerk into buying more and more, they just would not take a hint to let us be and buy the things we wanted to buy. One man even blocked the exit of a store to make us buy an expensive painting we had no interest in. The vibes felt weird every day. Specialty restaurants were not good and we found ourselves not finishing our meals and just going to the buffet. We also had issues with staff not ever coming in and cleaning our companions’ rooms. One day the power was out in our room for hours while other rooms had it. We had to ask someone to fix it for us three times over the course of seven hours. When someone finally came he was rude and tried to lecture us how he came hours ago and fixed the room despite the fact that he had not. We communicated this with management and have not heard back in three weeks. We have been to other bahia principe properties and they were great. This one was just awful.

I wish I knew about the seaweed!!! Swimming at the beach didn’t happen and the area stinks because of the seaweed. The buffet food was ok. Oh I also didn’t expect so much mosquitoes. But that was fine one you had bug spray. Wish there was more entertainment at the resort too. They excelled at hospitality however.
