Brush up your Spanish because no one speaks another language and that can be a challenge as you negotiate various tours and prices. The women organize tours and pick ups happen right outside the front door so that is convenient. Internet is spotty at the hotel. If you need to check something online, our suggestion is to go to a near by cafe where there's free wifi and complete your work. Also if you booked online, it is possible the hotel expects you to pay on site. Check your bookings prior to going there since it is not always possible to access your records online due to weak network. Not sure if local ATMs work. The town is walkable and Abita can recommend places to visit or eat meals at. All in all it can be a pleasant stay; network connection is an issue even though one is vacationing. Ceci and Abita are very warm people and we wish them both the very best.
