We arrived after dark and the neighborhood looked a little sketchy, but the property was fenced and we were tired. We were booked for two nights but on arrival we asked if we could stay for one night and she said okay. When she showed us the room she apologized for the neighbor’s loud music and hoped it wouldn’t keep us up all night. Luckily it was only until around 10pm before they turned it down. The room was very dated, but the bed was comfortable. The next morning I had to kill two spiders in the bathroom. When we went to leave she told us that we would have to pay extra for leaving early, but I could just pay her directly instead of involving Expedia. I told her would call Expedia to handle that. They told me that I did not owe any fees. I would not recommend staying here.

The place was nice, comfortable. Owners are very kind people, the pool is very nice, too. Me and my family will go back there, no doubt.

Beautiful and Relaxing

We LOVED our stay at the Villas Allen! Beautiful and very relaxing property! We essentially had the whole property to ourselves. Adrian is super welcoming and friendly. Ramon and his wife were also very kind and do a fantastic job of keeping the grounds and area in tip top shape. We felt like we were able to relax and enjoy the pool and hammocks. We rented bikes from Henry right down the road and were quickly in town enjoying Puerto Viejo. We highly recommend the Villas Allen to everyone!

Malo es poco.

Comenzaré con los puntos a favor: La piscina y el área de jardín están muy bien: Césped, árboles, bancas con mesas para picnic. El personal, así como el dueño son amables. La casa en sí, en cambio, es un desastre: Cero detalles de buen gusto, paredes sucias, a medio terminar, aún con los remaches a la vista, sin repello. Mobiliario insuficiente. Las camas un insulto, colchón viejo y barato, de gomaespuma, de esos que se van hundiendo. La tv está en la cocina. Ducha y camas sucias con arena y pelos. No a/c. A $ 80 es un insulto, un abuso, un asalto. No debiera ser parte de la oferta de Hoteles.com.
