Charming 3-min stroll to Beach/Town with AC

This gorgeous home has been lovingly up-cycled, giving it a stylish feel for guests to enjoy. The design includes sustainable resources and recycled materials. Surrounding the house are natural and cultivated gardens that not only add to the beauty of the property, but also support the local ecosystem. The rental has an open concept design with its kitchenette and lounge located on a veranda where guests can immerse in the natural surroundings while relaxing, socializing or dining-in.

The unit is part of a duplex, where each unit is distinctly private, and offers two bedrooms. The first bedroom has a double/full sized bed, and the second bedroom has two twin beds which could be pushed together to become a king sized bed upon request. The bathroom and toilet are side-by-side but separate and includes a hot water shower. The unit includes air conditioning, High Speed Wi-Fi internet, floor and ceiling fans, screened windows in case you prefer the natural airflow rather than air conditioning. There is a large balcony/veranda with kitchen-dining area equipped for light cooking, there is plenty of space to relax, where you can swing in the hammocks or kick back and stretch out on the sofa in the lounge area, see the occasional sloth passing by or listen to the howler monkeys calling too! We are nestled at the edge of the jungle and surrounded by the sounds of nature, yet close enough to the beach you can hear the waves crashing on the shore on a still night.

The space is part of a duplex (two separate rental units under one roof) that are completely private with no access to each other and no common areas, comprising of two separate apartments. The duplex shares the driveway with only one permanent resident; a lovely couple and their young child. The property is bound by fencing, there is a very secure gate at the entrance to the driveway. It is located in a residential neighborhood that is a mixture of permanent residents and short-term vacation rentals, which provides a more genuine and unique experience of local life during your stay.

Other things to note
We pride ourselves in always having potable water. In 2023 we established our own water source through the use of a system that taps the underground aquifer. We purify this water to make it potable thanks to the technology of the best water purification company in Costa Rica. You will drink, cook, and shower with the cleanest water you can find in the area.
Guests are also provided an initial supply of coffee, soap, shampoo, conditioner, paper towels and toilet paper. Of course, the house includes linens and towels.

** Please be aware that because the property is located in the tropics on the edge of a rainforest jungle, you might see insects outside the house that are endemic to the area.

** Please note that there is some construction occurring nearby that will occasionally create some minimal noise. Pricing has been lowered to offset any possible aggravation or inconvenience.

We Loved this Place!!
The property was in the perfect location and this was our third time in Puerto Viejo! When we return again we will definitely be staying here. We love how secure it was having a car and all. The owner of the home was so kind and Gracious. She would text to make sure everything was going perfectly. A must stay if your in the area. We will be returning. The little extra touches meant alot. Amazing Stay in Puerto Viejo!
We were lucky to call this beautiful place home for 10 days. The place is clean and had everything we needed. The host was extremely responsive and checked in frequently. Location is great, very close to town making it easy to walk everywhere. Friendly neighbours too! Highly recommend this property!
