A Gem for the Family

First I want to thank the host for being very communicative and gracious. They provided a special place for our family's vacation. When I first walked in, I immediately got a grin on my face from how nice it was! Great views! The craftsmanship of the wood was incredible. We loved how everything worked with each other. We had 3 generations of families with ease. Grandparents in 1 room, Couple 1 in another, Couple 2 in another, and 4 kids in the room with my bunk bed and trundle! Huge closets and storage areas. Tech: 3 SmartTVs. Main, master, 2nd master. All work great. WiFi with 30Mb/30Mb up and down. We used a VPN travel router, plugged into one of the open Ethernet ports on the back of thier WiFi router. There were multiple outlets in each room, and one on each side of the bed. Use the light switch to make sure the outlet is on. Issues: Fridge doesn't freeze well (13F set to 0F) - maintenance tried to fix it, unsuccessfully. Master shower head leaks Listing amenities showed a grill and other items that are no longer provided (boogie boards) Reported to the property manager - They said they would fix the items and update the listing. Oddities: No locks on any doors (bathrooms included). The property manager said the hardware is custom(it is beautiful), and no one has ever had an issue with no locks. We have a multi-gen family, it would be nice to be able to lock bathrooms while using the showers etc. Tons of light switches, almost one per light in the master bed.

Birthday weekend in Penasco

The property is great. Everything is as pictured/described. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. We had 9 adults and everyone fit and slept comfortably. More than enough space. The patio was a fun place to hang out. Beach is definitely walking distance and amenities available made the stay even better. We will certainly be back.

Nice condo, great communication with owners. Beach was a little farther than I’d prefer having to travel with wagon and pop up but it worked out fine. I’d stay here again.
