Charming 1 bedroom/1 bath condo in Rocky Point at the Sonoran Sun Resort, second floor. The bedroom has a king bed, large closet and a 55 inch smart TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with new cookware and standard appliances. It has a Nespresso coffee maker with pods, a Keurig coffee maker with pods and a drip machine. The spacious living room comfortably sits 5 people. It comes with a 65 inch smart TV. Both of the TVs are equipped with Netflix, Amazon Video and Hulu as well as cable. There is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room with an updated memory foam mattress. The terrace has a table and chairs to enjoy coffee or a meal al fresco while taking in the beautiful views of the Sea of Cortes. The resort has 2 pools, 2 hot tubs and a gym equipped with aerobic machines, weight machines and free weights. There is also a restaurant bar on the premises. Great family stay with 2 kids. Unit is close to stairs, making it very manageable to get to pool and beach, parking and the little store. All while still being a very quiet unit, great communication from host.

Wonderful 1st Visit

Unit was great on the 2nd floor so really convenient. It is decorated very nice. We enjoyed the balcony, hot tub and walking the beach. Bed was comfortable had to pull out the softer pillows after first night. Only complaint was so dark at night for bathroom trips and I didn’t bring a night light. We enjoyed the location and sampled food at various restaurants. Since it was our first time to Rocky Point we just drove around to get a feel for the community. We will be back in the near future. I’m a fair weather type of person so the weather could have been warmer with more sunshine but since we can’t control that we will have to come back.

Quick getaway

My husband and I enjoyed this condominium. The decor was nicely done. Reminded me of Fools Rush In and that’s our favorite movie. Opening the patio doors on this 2nd floor condo and hearing the ocean waves was the white noise I needed. I didn’t want the outside busy/noise that you get from other hotel/condos and I was pleasantly pleased. At 7am all the workers are busy maintaining the spectacular pool area. The gym area is just steps away on the first floor. It was stocked with multiple new like machines. The food at the restaurant/bar in the facility was very good along with Diego's Tiki Bar which is located in the Esmeralda next door. Also it’s just a short hike to Wrecked at the Reef from the condo. Who’s menu has changed and now is basically bar food😞

PERFECT FOR MY FAMILY!!

Loved our stay here!! My husband and I brought our 8 year old and 1.5 year old. Located close to the stairs that lead down to the pool and on the 2nd floor which was so nice. Comfy bed, amazing patio views, beach towels, laundry, everything we needed for the kitchen. There is a water jug for use which I thought was going to be filled but it wasn’t so bring your own filtered water! Would definitely stay again! Thank you to the great host!

Nice property and great resort

The unit was on the second floor near the stairs which was great. The unit was very nice and as advertised on the website. Would have liked a little more information from the owners on how to work the TV, AC etc as there were NO notes in the unit. Also some information on the resort would have been appreciated.
